This was part of a sampler case purchased at Costco. I would like to preface the review by saying this is the weakest offering in the case. The other beers were above average. Here goes...given the style, the beer looks like it should blond and golden, a head that hugs the circumference of a pint glass. The nose is figgy with some slight roasted nut. The taste is well balanced sweetness up front with a slightly oily finish. The mouthfeel is slightly heavier than other blondes. Decent brew, not great, but I will gladly drink the sixer I have.
