Colorado Native Amber LagerColorado Native Amber Lager
Notes: Colorado Native is a hand crafted lager made with all Colorado ingredients that celebrates the joys of life in Colorado.

Hold up a pint of Colorado Native and drink in its amber lager color, brought to life with pale and caramel malts from our famous Moravian 2-row barley. We painstakingly balanced its malt character against select Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops to create a perfectly balanced, full-flavored beer. A lager yeast fermentation gives Colorado Native a slight fruitiness, complementing a citrus aroma note from a late kettle hop addition. Everything then comes together to deliver a clean taste and dry finish that is very drinkable by itself, or paired with your favorite foods.

Poured from a can. Amber in color with a large tan head and lacing. Smells of malt and honey. Flavors of bread, caramel, and malt. Seems to come together well.

Had this on tap at the YARD HOUSE in Denver, CO. On tap this is a great beer.
LOOK: Pours a crystal clear amber with a slightly off white head that has superior retention and leaves plenty of
side glass lace.
AROMA: Sweet bread malts, some grass, hints of citrus, caramel and yeast.
TASTE: Malts lead, citrus notes drying. Very tasty, really enjoyed this beer.
Easy to drink, clean, balanced, semi-complex. Need to buy a six pack

Look: Clear amber/copper, fluffy light tan head.

Smell: Crisp hops/citrus, hints of "roastiness," nice rich malts; sweet caramel, biscuit.

Taste: Nice malts, yeast/bready with hops throughout, nice bittersweet flavor with a little bit of fruity aftertaste

Feel: Normal carbonation, medium body, warm, dry finish.

Overall: Great beer!

This beer represents everything I love about Colorado. Amber Is my favorite sweet beer and the microbrewery capital of america does not dissappoint when it comes to this amazing Gem. Not a beer to be taken lightly, smooth to go down, strong feel after. A bold beer crafted after only beautiful colorado local ingrediants. If you want to picture yourself in the Rocky mountains and taste the sweetness of the beautiful flowers that grow wild here while enjoying the crispness of fresh snowmelt then this is the beer for you.

6/25/17...off the Coors brewery tour. Pours medium copper with a light head of clingy white foam. Light caramel sweet nose. Smooth semi sweet taste. Amber caramel. Light bite, enough to balance the sweetness. Chewy finish. Tasty.
