This delicious beer smells of dark chocolate but tastes a bit like a combination of milk chocolate, dark coffee beans, and sweet cigar. There's a hint of woodiness to the taste that makes this an especially unique porter. Combined with its beautifully dark color and soft, milky texture, it is one of the better porters out there.

On tap at the Growler Guys, Seattle. My wife got this one and I couldn't stop drinking it.
A: Shoe polish brown with a one finger tan head that stayed.
S: Heavy chocolate and cocoa nibs. Chocolate malts. Yum.
T: Powdered chocolate combined with cocoa and chocolate malts. Almost like a Rogue Double Chocolate with more powder. Fan-freakin'-tastic!
M: Medium to heavy with medium, very chewy carbonation.
O: This was a surprise whim purchase that turned out to be a killer dessert beer. Damn, that chocolate rocks.

On tap at the brewpub in Sisters.
Opaque black-brown with a semi-durable tan head that leaves a few streaks of sticky lacing.
Aroma: Dark and very dark roasted malts with hints of cocoa nibs and toffeand floral hops. Some citrus too.
Flavor: Medium strong dark roasted malt flavor; faint burnt toast element. Lightly boozy with a hint of brandy. Slightly more bitter than sweet.
Feel: Medium body is very smooth. Appropriate low carbonation.
O: recommended and worth seeking out.
