A: Pours a hazy golden yellow. Moderate amount of carbonation bubbles. A finger of white head. Nice sticky lacing with a small amount of retention.

S: Very fragrant. Strong mosaic hops. Juicy. Some light malts. More Juice. For a “session” IPA the smell is great.

T/M: Hops. Mosaic Hops. Hops. Bitter. Juicy. Tropical. Pine and a little herbal. Mostly tropical. Malts are subdued but present. Creamy with a nice carbonation tingle. Hop bitterness does linger. The overal taste does fade slightly as the beer warms.

O: Solid “Session” IPA. Probably the best one I’ve tried. It’s hop forward, but still has excellent drinkability.

Cheers!!

L: Hazy, translucent deep gold with a creamy white head. Medium-plus retention, and

S: Fresh grapefruit, orange, and lemon peel and pith. Some pine, and crackery, honeyed malt.

T: Big pop of lemon, orange, and grapefruit; bittersweet, both juice and peel. The malt backbone is crackery with hints of honey. There are faint hints of pineapple and passion fruit. The finish dries out with a citrus quality and a taste of pine. Finishes lightly dry with just a soft bitterness that doesn't linger long.

F: Well-rounded upfront with spritzy carbonation, tapering thin and slightly watery near the finish, though still a bit fuller than most session IPAs.

O: A really good session IPA. A bit thin for my preference, but magnificent aromas and flavors.

Can stamped 08/4/2017.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a golden semi-transparent color topped with a quarter finger's worth white foamy head that concaved at a nice pace to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had a superb blend of danky sweet onion to some bitter gripping pine. Ended with a touch of lemon rind crisping it together.
The flavor engulfed the sweetness dripping into a subtle danky to semi-strong lemon rind. Strides nicely into the aftertaste (danky to bitter pine and lemon rind, yes, it's all there).
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Some bitter harshness grips my tongue, but not burdensome.
Overall, I can see it as a session IPA, perhaps a bit more body than I was expecting for a true "session IPA" by those standards, but it's still well worthy of having again despite having just a bit more body.

Canned 4 days ago! I'm not a huge session IPA fan, but this tasted like a session version of Yellow Rose.

Look: good carb, with quickly dissipating head. Minimal lacing.
Smell: little to no smell. Faint herbally hops
Taste: YR is a favorite of mine, so this hits the spot as far as asession goes. Great combo of herbally hops and lingering bitterness.
Feel: A NE IPA with carbonation is getting rare. Nice to see this hit the spot. Obviously very thin and watery.
Overall: If I'm reaching for a session or "lite" beer this would be the one.
