(16 oz can, gifted from a four-pack, no date on can... decanted into a fat tulip)

L: mildly hazy, yellow liquid; huge build of open, rocky, white foam, which breaks down fast, leaving a chunky collar... only a small slug of sediment at can's end; clouds up thick

S: orange zest, hint of pine and floral misc in the background; bit of a citrus-spicy, jelly-candy like note at the bottom... maybe only a subtle note of cookie-ish pale malt... its floral-fruity fragrance blasts steady, then give way to some melon and white grape

T: lightly bready, grainy malt, bulbous in the base, with a humming thread of herbal-bitter, zesty hops; bit of a bitter lemon-lime (trifoliate orange? bergamot?) aftertaste... the low(er) alcohol/gravity seems apparent, little something missing in the back end, while a mild nuttiness from the grains and a 'green' hop flavor slowly builds

F: lightly-creamy, moderately oily/resiny viscosity; finish is relatively soft... bitterness and lively carbonation help maintain a light lasting sting on the tongue

O: certainly has some enjoyable elements to it; could easily have a few in a row... but overall the flavors aren't terribly unique - could be improved by using more characterful hop varieties?

On tap at Lawson's Finest Liquids in Waitsfield, VT.

This one pours a fairly hazy orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like juicy melon and orange, zesty piney hops, a bit of bready malt, berry and grape.

They say this beer has no defined style, but it's definitely just a juicy IPA, and a good one at that. It's got some definitely melon, orange, lemon, and mango, with a clean and refreshing bitterness on the back end. There's a touch of malt but nothing overwhelming.

Lawson's rotating hop series, this one with Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin.

Nice and hazy, beautiful fluffy white head. Aroma is juicy and bright, especially as it warms.
Flavors mirror the aroma, and thankfully the Nelson hops really shine through with that classic gooseberry,
and white grape vibe. Pillowy mouthfeel, nice juicy finish: this one is a winner!

Poured from the can into a tulip.
Pours a medium straw with decent haze and one finger of bubbly head.
Aromas are mellow hoppiness, some yeast. Light bread.
Flavor is pretty muted. Not a lot of hops, some malt and yeast. Standard light ale.
Mouthfeel is a bit thin.
Overall, this beer is unremarkable for a low ABV ale.
