Our crisp, clear golden ale features notes of straw and fresh grain along with a subtle citrusy hop aroma. An approachable and light bodied brew.

16 oz. Can
CANNED ON: 09/06/19

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice slight hazy yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with some lemon, bready, grassy. The taste is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, nice touch of lemon, bready, grassy. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty nice thirst quencher. Nice to see it around here.

This has gotta be be one of the worst beers Lawson's has ever made.

It smells and tastes like one of their crappy pineapple IPAs but horribly diluted, like a beer made for kids. This is NOT what a golden ale is supposed to taste like.

The only redeeming quality of this disgusting product is its decent golden color. Otherwise its truly awful.

AVOID.

16 ounce, canned 07/12/21.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a beautifully bright, light golden body with lacing. Nose of hay/straw with a bit of citrus and ever so slight floral attributes. Taste of hay and slight citrus with a finish of light hop bitterness. Very refreshing and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a super crushable summer blonde.
Cheers to Sean and the crew in Waitsfield, VT for a fine offering!

Currently #54 in the Top American Blonde Ales list.

CAN: 16 fl oz pull-tab. Nabbed at a beer store in Colorado...probably a GABF special release holdover?

5.1% ABV. "Golden ale."

APPEARANCE: Clear blonde body. Off-white head.

AROMA: Grain. Honeyed malts. Lemon zest. Grassy hop aromatics. Baked bread. A scintilla of yogurt.

Aromatic intensity is average.

TASTE & TEXTURE: Dry and medium-bodied...not the most refreshing golden ale I've had. Blonde malts, 2-row/pale malt, honeyed malt. Hop profile is okay...floral but unremarkable.

OVERALL: Not a golden ale proper in the Lost Abbey Devotion / Russian River Damnation / Duvel sense of the term, nor is it much of a blonde ale.

Not what we've come to expect from Lawson's Finest Liquids, and I don't mean that it's a pleasant surprise. Not much of a golden ale...I'd almost sooner have Ballantine XXX so long as we're talking about beers improperly characterized as American Blonde Ales. Drinkable but ultimately rather dull.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was obviously a golden color topped by a rocky finger and a half's worth of white foamy head. Slid off at a good pace to leave some speckled lace.
The aroma had some lemon, grassy hoppy zest with some light notes of honey, biscuity breadiness.
The flavor copied the aroma pretty spot on running through the sweetness of it all. Hop zest was quaint. Bready/biscuity aftertaste with some lemon, honey and grassiness.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under with a very good sessionability about it. Nice carbonation playing a tennis match with some stickiness. I didn't mind, it was nice for the most part. Smooth finish of grassy hops, hop zest and a touch of honey.
Overall, I'd say a very nice American golden ale. Lotsa flavor for the style and sticks close to it as well.

16oz can purchased at the brewery. Pours a translucent golden color with over an inch of frothy head. Lots of lacing. Slightly hoppy aroma of citrus and grassy hops. Doughy malts and hay. First sip is more of the malts and hay with grassy hop notes. Hints of caramel and toffee towards the end with a bit of citrus. Grassy, malty finish with some bread crusts. Light mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Crisp with very little alcohol presence and a nice little hop bite to it.

Quite hoppy take on a low ABV golden ale, primarily grassy and herbaceous notes. Overwhelms the pale malt bill a little
