On tap, 12oz. pour. Then later at the Lawson's Anniversary event.

Look: Clean straw color, pure white head, foamy, settles to ring around the glass. Lots of stick lacing.

Smell: Get the crisp citrus hops up front, lemon zest, and a bit of pine. A bid of breadiness.

Taste: A nice smooth full flavored brew. Full of crisp hoppy flavor with a balancing sweet malt backbone. Touch of honey, touch of yeasty dough.

Feel: Moderate level of carbonation, medium body, smooth and easy to drink.

Overall: A tasty light brew, great flavor full flavor for the ABV.

Thanks to Conor for this one.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a short-lived white head that recedes to a soapy cap and leaves delicate lacing.

Aroma is pretty hopped up for a blonde with some light lemony citrus hops as well as bready malts. There are hints of juicy citrus like pineapple and grapefruit but they're muted.

The taste starts with the light lemon zest and floral hops. But they're extremely light with some bready malts underneath. The finish is clean and dry.

The mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp and highly carbonated, close to perfect for the style.

As a blond ale, this one is fantastic. To be fair, it's really hopped up for the style, but it still doesn't feel out of balance and I could drink this all night long. Possibly the best blond ale I've ever had.

22oz bottle into Duvel tulip. Huge thanks to SneezyAchew for hooking me up with every Lawson's beer I've had the pleasure to drink. Thanks a ton Michael! Batch #168, Bottle#57.

A: Pours a pale amber-gold with a billowing off-white head that slowly faded into a thin film and collar that left a ton of sticky lacing down the glass.
S: Smells a lot like a pale ale with big notes of grassy hops, light notes of sweet tropical fruits, and a touch of citrus and straw.
T: Follows the nose with a light sweet hoppy flavor. Exceptionally clean flavors with just the right amount bitterness. Finish has some crackery pale malt notes, and the aftertaste has a touch of grapefruit and bubblegum.
M: Medium body with a crisp mouthfeel. Carbonation is even and soft.
D: My third beer by this brewery and I continue to be impressed. This has got to be one of the easiest drinking beers of all time. Thanks again Michael. Please keep the Lawson's beers coming!

Bomber into a Duvel tulip. Big thanks to vonschplieffen for sharing.

A: Crystal clear pale amber body with a fairly thin, frothy white head. Mediocre retention, spotty lace. Ok.

S: Hop-forward but balanced, with really light, bready, butterscotch malt behind strong, primarily floral hops. A touch of citrus, too. Great.

T: Follows the nose, but with a bit more emphasis on the citrus, with some lovely lemony hoppiness ahead of the dry, biscuity malts and clean, mildly bitter finish. Crisp, tasty, refreshing.

M: Light, bubbly, light-carbonated. Ok.

O: Excellent beer, particularly for the rather weak style. It's far from the most exciting beer the brewery produces, but it's well worth trying.

Cheers!

Big citrus notes with good balancing malt character. Golden straw color with off white head. If I could get this in a six pack it would always be in my fridge. Not sure if this really should be called a blonde but regardless I its too good to not get high marks. More to come from notes laters.

22oz bomber received in a trade with MtGoat thanks!

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy pale blond with a 1 finger white crown that shows decent retention and lace.

Smell: Hallertau / saaz type herbal hops over light amount of pale malt.

Taste: Same as the nose but the hops take center stage. This blond is hoppy enough to come off more like an imperial pilsner or a belgian ipa even!

Mouthfeel: Crisp with good carbonation.

Drinkability: Sessionable.

Another solid offering from Lawsons!

Poured from the tap into a pint glass.

The color is yellow/orange with two fingers of foamy white head and some nice lacing left on the glass

The smell is hoppy with some nice citrus aroma. There is a touch of apricots among the bitter spicy hops here in the nose.

The taste is malty with some honey mixed in that I was not quite expecting. The hops are fruity and have some touches of grapefruit and lemon. There is some bitterness here but nothing to striking just a small poke at the end with a nice juicy fruit flavor to wash off some of that hop flavor so it doesn’t come on too strong.

The feel is smooth and goes down easy. This has a good medium body and was just about right for the hot day I am drinking this on
