I put this beer as Lawson's number 2 ... Triple sunshine, Double sunshine, SOS, followed of course by many many other great new England IPA's. This beers has a golden glow, sticky honeycomb lacing, and nice hop oils that slowly drizzle down the glass throughout. Tropical fruit flavor and pineapple grapefruit nose, with a nice medium to full mouth feel. Make this a must try if you like the NE style!

drank this one the day of purchase, after buying at the first retail location these were delivered to.

slightly hazed golden orange pour - super dense and creamy bright white head - soapy bubbles atop and the retention is great, leaving sticky lace down the glass.

on nose is marijuana, grapefruit, grassiness, minty herbal note, some slightly spicy/peppery floral aspects, peach, bit of booze coming through... lots of green and earthy dankness, resinous pine. on palate is a really nice and complex profile of citric and green notes. up front getting tangerine orange & oily grapefruit peel, lemon/lime, hint of mango, honey, bready malts, big herbal character, fresh cut grass, mint, melon, finishing on a nice resinous pine note. a bit more bitter than I anticipated but I don't see that as a bad thing given all the other flavors going on, comes together quite well. As it warms, getting that sweeter honey soaked fruit thing with mango, peach & hint pineapple coming through. mouthfeel is medium bodied, has some of that light fluff to it.

overall this one was enjoyable but still a bit of a let down for me. I tend to think Sip is a really nice balanced IPA, and Triple Sunshine is easily the most complex and interesting hoppy beer ive tasted. To me, this was a slightly ramped up version of Sip, had a bit more depth in the flavor profile ... but it was nowhere close to triple in terms of just layers and layers of bombastic but delicately balanced tropical hoppyness. while this was definitely enjoyable, I'm not sure id seek out again given the extremely limited production and high demand. That being said, I chilled in line at my local beer store with some other beer geeks for < 30 min to attain this, so no hassle in my book, cheers!

Good beer, clear and clean and super dank. It was not as juicy as other NE beers and did not have as good of mouthfeel. Overall a classic IPA and very good
