Enjoyed On tap at Prohibition Pg. White foam on yellow suds. A DIPA level of bitterness. Good drinkability, above average mouthfeel. Only a faint hop aroma. What a way to start, with a DIPA in the afternoon. Lots of citrus flavour, fruity. The alcohol is there.

Bottle pour courtesy of Wowcoolman at Woodshop 7 held at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a clear light orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and some very nice tropical fruit aromas. Taste is exactly the same and comes with a medium amount of hop bitterness that lingers on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is super tasty and really easy to drink.

This poured out as a very nice looking yellow color with a fluffy white head on top. The head retention is strong and the lacing is very good too. The smell is loaded with floral, fruity and citrus aromas. The smell is almost addictive. The taste of the beer is solid as well, lots of piney citrus and melon flavors with a great malt backbone as well. The mouthfeel of the beer is very drinkable, soft and refreshing. Overall it's excellent. Very happy to have tried this beer finally.

On-tap at Draught 55, New York, NY

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has some light hues of amber along with a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very citrusy with flavors of oranges and hints of grapefruit and pine. There are also slight hints of underlying caramel malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied, crisp and a little sticky on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has nice and strong aromas and flavors of citrusy hops with the type of underlying malt body you would expect from an Imperial IPA. It hides its alcohol very well.

Serving type: on-tap

Thanks Brian for bringing a couple bottles to share!
Review from written notes.

Into a small tulip glass it pours a saturated orange tone, with a slight haze to it. Lasting cap of white foam, with a ring of lace crowning the rim of the glass.

Dank... and I mean Dank aroma, lush and resiny, super pungent fresh hops taking on an almost cheesy quality. Phew!

Big citrus notes lead off initially, lush with bitter orange peel and leafy greenery. Again an almost cheesy quality about the hop varietals used. Lasting aftertaste, dry and bitter, resiny and clinging to the teeth and gums. Super fresh impression, very resiny with lush citrus. This is great stuff, thanks again for sharing Brian!

Appearance: The honey colored liquid is capped by an impressive head that coats and laces like a champ

Smell: Hemp and pine dominant

Taste: The hemp and pine flavors dominate from start to finish though there is just a hint of sweet biscuity malt that lingers underneath

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Worthy of the hype, this is one terrific DIPA

Poured from the bottle into a goblet.

Pours a golden amber with a layer of off white. The smell is rather sweet with a pleasant hop note. Slightly floral and bit dank. The taste is light and bitter up front with a more dominant bitterness towards the finish. There is a really nice grain sweetness behind the hops. West coast ip front and east coast in the finish.

Cloudy blond body topped by a thin head that recedes to a crown. Big pineapple nose backed by grapefruit and orange. Little malt presence. Tastes really nice; pineapple and grapefruit with some earthiness in the background. Body is light and malt is noticeable but integrated, slightly bready. A really good DIPA.

Pours a white head. Color is a hazed bright golden orange.

Aroma: Lots of floral and herbal hops. Huge tropical citrus flavors. Pineapples, mangoes, oranges. No malts show.

Taste: Super tropical fruit flavor. Massive floral, earthy, and fresh hop profile. No malts again. Awesome.

Mouthfeel: Bitter and smooth. Medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends sticky.

Overall, a great dipa. So fruity with no malts showing. Very tasty and very drinkable. Wish more east coast dipas were like this (disregarding HF of course).

Tap at black back pub in Waterbury, VT.

nice big head, fades slowly with nice soapy lacing, hazy golden carrot orange color.

Nose had light malts, nice tropical fruits, hint of citrus, tangerine, bit earthy, citrus rind, nice light but fruity, hint of malts.

Taste is creamy malts, sweet ish, tropical fruits, nice big citrus orange rind, tangerine, peach, mango, touch pineapple, fairly bitter, nice big long bitter hoppy finish, more lingering citrus and tropical fruit, more bitterness and dry finish.

Mouth is med bodied, decent carb.

Overall great, bit too dry on the finish, but great hops and nice touch of a malty balance, great tropical fruits and fruits in general. And amazingly drinkable.

Huge, huge thanks to imagineiii for sending this bottle my way. I've been looking to try this for awhile now. Served in a Bruery tulip.

Pours a bright, clear golden yellow color with a good white head and plenty of lacing as it goes down. The nose immediately lets me know that this is going to be delicious. It has loads of citrus character along with a bit of pine; slightly dank. Great hoppiness. The flavor carries the same notes, and the citrus hop character pairs really well with a great amount of bitterness. Very good. Light to medium body with a great dry finish. Very, very nice overall.
