THis beer pours a semi hazy golden color with a white frothy head.
It smelled good at first, with apples and pears but towards the end I could not get away from the sour kraut aroma. Perhaps it is infected I don't know.
The taste was marginally better with it being dry and peppery. Semi malty and only hints of hops to cut through.
Drinks thin and taste thin.
I'm glad this is only brewed once.

A: Bright gold body topped by white head and great lace. Excellent head retention.
S: Tropical fruit, pineapple, lemon & floral aromas.
T: Citrus, lemon zest flavors and light malt presence that starts sweet and finishes with a dry, clean, bitter back end.
M: Nicely balanced IPA with good carbonation.
O: Decent Caribbean style IPA with tropical feel and flavors.

12oz can poured into tulip.

A: Pours hazy golden with medium off-white head.

S: Floral most of all, with tangerine and pineapple. I'm surprised how weak the smell is,being that the Citra variety was quite intense.

T: Bitter up front. Very floral, finishes with pine and a little tropical fruit. Bitter taste remains.

M: Medium-light bodied, feels clean.

O: I recently had the 'Citra' variety and was blown away. This one on the other hand leaves much to be desired. Too bitter and too floral for my tastes. It's just okay.
