Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into an Upland pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy, fairly dark gold. Low visible carbonation and a finger's worth of white head.
S: Nicely roasted coffee, milky sweet lactose. Not a lot of roasted malt character here. A touch of green or raw character to the coffee aroma.
T: Green coffee, creamy lactose sweetness, and white chocolate. Some mild roasted coffee bitterness. Biscuity malt body, and a touch of hop bitterness towards the end with residual coffee flavor.
M: Fairly light body for a "stout", but far from watery. Average carbonation sensation, and the alcohol presence is noticeable but not particularly hot.
O: An interesting beer, and I though tastier than Master of Disguise from Stone. But it's not anything I'd go crazy finding.

Bottle poured into a snifter glass
A: Pours reddish orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Mildly roasty, coffee, milk chocolate, licorice, and a little toasty malt.
T: Coffee, toasty bready malt, fruity notes, black licorice, a little chocolate, piney bitterness, a kinda herbal minty note, and a little toffee sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, creamy smooth.
O: A pretty solid "White Milk Stout" that's held up well with a little age on it.

Bottle share at Steve’s. White stout? Yea, I can see that. Nice bitterness on a golden body, mild foamy head, white chocolate. Tasty, creamy, goodness.

This beer was sweet and malty, but with some interesting stout flavors as well (coffee and chocolate and vanilla). While I preferred the milkman version, this was still a pleasant beer, and I enjoyed mixing the two beers. For me, the mixture was better and more enjoyable than either beer by itself.
