Notes / Commercial Description:
This Tampa-style Lager is inspired by the traditional German-style Helles, which translates to “light colored.” Perfect for the Florida heat, it’s a beer that’s made for drinkin’ when it’s truly hotter than helles outside.

Bright yellow/gold tinge. Slight haze, very slight. Bread, hops, & just a hint of citrus on the nose. light body, grassy & grainy middle. Dry. very dry. Lemony notes carry on the back & throughout the finish.
Balanced. Refreshing. Light. Dry. No surprises. Well-executed, Lager.
This beer makes me feel better that come July on the FL West Coast, I will have this to counter the sweltering heat.

From can at home. Clear golden in the glass. Head gives way pretty quick but since this goes down so easy, that's not a problem. Light in color but big on flavor. Great texture. Refreshing & it's a welcome 4.5ABV goes well with the quaff-ability of this really, really good brew.

Poured from the can into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. Slightly murky golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Nice crisp flavor.

Pours a pale straw color with average carbonation. A thin, white bubbly head.
Smells like a European lager with the yeast and hop smell.
The yeast taste really stands out on this refreshing and tasty lager. One of the better lagers I have had in quite some time.

Great Lager. The can I drank this out of said "for drinking" and that's exactly what you can do with this beer. Light, crisp, and very drinkable. This beer does what it was brewed for very well. I was on a tour of Cigar City Brewing right when this was being announced and they talked about how they wanted a refreshing beer that one could drink after yard work or at the beach. A great drinkable lager. Not too complex, but that's the point.
