Dark, straw yellow in color with a very faint haze. Poured with a short, bright, white soapy foam with medium low retention. Clean, malty aroma with light bready notes. No fruit or hop aromas. On the lighter side of medium bodied with soft medium carbonation and light creamy smoothness through the middle. No boozy warmth with the crushable abv, but overall a pleasant delicate feel. Medium bready malt flavors followed by a timely medium light spicy hop bite that cuts the malt sweetness. No hop or fruit flavors. Finished cleanly with a light crackery malt aftertaste. Very easy drinking, malty, and simple. Yet an excellent brew. Something you can enjoy in quantity because it’s so drinkable, but also a brew that you drink slowly and savor.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a patch of bubbles on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of biscuit malts are present in the nose along with faint hints of noble hops.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is dominated by flavors of biscuit malts. Although there is only a faint amount of bitterness, the hops mostly serve to cancel out any sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a hybrid between an American Pale Lager and a Munich Helles Lager. It might be considered a little bland, but it is easy to drink.

From can at home. Clear golden in the glass. Head gives way pretty quick but since this goes down so easy, that's not a problem. Light in color but big on flavor. Great texture. Refreshing & it's a welcome 4.5ABV goes well with the quaff-ability of this really, really good brew.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint golden + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall slightly fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of faintly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of grainy + cracker malts with just the slightest hint of sweetness and faint aromas of grassy + spicy hops.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of cracker + grainy malts with just the slightest hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of grassy + spicy hops which contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness which only lingers for a short amount of time.

M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Clean.

O: Easy to drink and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer (especially FL summer) evening or relaxing by the pool.

Pours a crystal clear straw with minimal head, no lacing left behind for this one. Cracker, little bit of grass, but a strong whiff of metal on the nose, like a wet penny. Biscuity, clean sweetness, nothing overpowering here at all; would like to have that Bud-like breadiness popped up a bit, but may that's just me. Thin mouthfeel, effervescent. Solid lager, wish more out there were pushing the boundaries on these.

Not a lager fan but I try everything ..

Pretty descent for what it is , much more flavor than a regular macro lager for sure..

Reminded me of cereal sorta .

Would buy again if I felt like having a few lagers , like they say ,its made for drinkin.

The beer comes in a pale straw color, crystal clarity.

The flavor offers a grainy sweetness, almost leaning towards lightly tart apple, crackers, beautiful depth of light bready malts, onto a lightly floral and perfumey bitterness. Rounded upfront, while dry on the finish.

Pale gold, out of a can stamped 30 days prior, and into a 20 oz snifter. No remarkable head.
The nose is much like a late-fifties Old Vienna Lager shared with your dad on Canadian lakes.
(Skeptical? There are some olfactory memories that leap back out of nowhere.)
The can admonition to pour gently makes sense, because this preserves a good level of carbonation. Nothing bitter. Nothing citrus. No spices. No chocolate. No wood-barrel taint. No watery disappointment. This is real beer that needs no crutches.
This lager is, as Cigar City promotes, "Made for Drinkin." It leaves the big boys a full lap back.

CAN
Bright gold, fizz, no head. 3.5
Tinny, slight grass, opens into sweet malt. 3.75
More tin, slight cracker, vague hay… not much else. 3.5
Lively, thin, crisp. 3.5

Nov 19 - Dec 12, 3 weeks in the can. Styled on Helles? Naw! Mostly metallic, with no malt sweetness, never mind hops, and too fizzy on top of it. Not even lawnmower. CC throws a bone to the masses. 3.75

straw yellow in color with excellent clarity. There's a fingernail of dishwater white resting on top. The aroma is of German bittering hops and pale malt. The taste is very subtle light malt. The bittering hops do not really stand out, but I don't think they were meant to. The mouth is very smooth and quaffable.
