Notes: This beer is a double-barrel aged coffee coconut imperial stout and it is actually a blend of an imperial stout aged in Brandy barrels and an imperial porter aged in Bourbon barrels. The blend is then aged on Buddy Brew roasted coffee beans and toasted coconut before being packaged in 750ml bottles.

A - Dark black pour with lots of legs on the sides of the glass, thin but very dense lacing.

S - Nice dark chocolate, coconut, with some mild booziness.

T - Milk chocolate, coconut, bourbon, oak, and brandy all very well blended and not one that overpowers the other. Alcohol is persent but not at all overpowering.

M - Thick, viscous, slippery, sticky. Nice lingering brandy/chocolate/bourbon/oak tannin.

O - This is a fantastic beer, hats off to Cigar City ... superbly done!

Poured out as a dark black beer with a thin brown head on top. The smell of the beer throws off some sweetness and roasted aromas. There is also some definitely barrel aging in there too. The taste of the beer is rich with chocolate and vanilla/coconut flavors. The feel is pretty thick. Overall it was a really good brew.

Decoherence is one of the better beers in my opinion that Cigar City has produced. Tons of coffee and coconut, the two different barrels also add a lot of character to the brew.

Oily with coconut flakes. Pitch black. Looks like any of those top 10 imperial stouts. Smell is Bourbon, subtle coconut, and subtle coffee. Flavor is amplified COCONUT, booze, chocolate, vanilla and great coffee finish. Mouth feel is ridiculous. Just a shade lighter than sr71. That means it's thick!

A: Black and slick. Nice legs that coat but don't stain the glass.

S: The coconut and coffee are present and but neither outshine the wonderfully deep bourbon caramel-soaked vanilla apple that the barrels offer.

T: Decadent, delicious and deceivingly drinkable for a brew that tips the scales at 12%. This isn't a bottle of suntan lotion, nor is it a coffee drink that resembles stout. It's beer, a wonderful well-balanced beer whose adjuncts serve only to elevate the stout, not to stand in front of it.

F: Thick without being syrupy or sludgy.

O: Given how well integrated and unified this blend is I must imagine that it was ironically named.

Enjoyed with Kevbot89 who really loved it and brian29 who is smug as usual despite enjoying the beer.
A stellar bottle from El Cat Club 3. The first smell lets us know that this is a phenomenal beer. The taste lives up to the smell.

What a beer! Thanks a ton to @rubblerubble. This is definitely one of the best out there.

Belgian chocolate, brandy, bourbon, oak, vanilla, coconut, marshmallow fluff, faint coffee, tobacco, leather, raisins, plums. The coconut plays more as marshmallow fluff and vanilla, but it's definitely from the coconut and various barrel-aging. The brandy barrels add a touch of booze and massive plum and grape flavors. This is just great.

The nose is insane. Then after taking a sip, you realize just how crazy it truly is. Masterclass beer.

This is one of the best beers I've had from CCB, very dark like used motor oil with no head. It has a very sweet fruity smell and tastes the same as it smells. Not really boozy, very enjoyable

Pours a dark black. Has a prominent aroma of coconut, coffee, and bourbon. Tastes just as amazing as it smells. Has a great feel without being overwhelming. Overall one of the best, if not the best beer I have ever had. I wish I could have more.

Great looking stout with a dark head. Smells of bitter chocolate. Roasted chocolate, some bourbon vanilla, then coconut on the finish. Another great barrel aged dark beer from ccb
