12oz bottle

With a summer pilsner at 5.5%, I was hoping for a refreshing beer with a good amount of flavor. However, the beer is not refreshing in the least and the flavors were a bit of a letdown. The aftertaste is probably my least favorite part of the beer, I don't know if it is the hops that are not agreeing with my palate. Overall, probably one of my least favorite CCB beers that I've tried.

Arrives bright yellow with a small white head that drops fast but leaves scattered lace.
Smell is almost non-existent, just a faint hint of malt and tortilla.
Taste is thankfully more pronounced with malt, hops, tortilla and a hint of pine. Balance is good.
On the light side of medium bodied, medium carbonation. Leaves a decent malt aftertaste. A decent enough beer but not their strong suit, the lagers.

2013 Bottle say 7% ABV

A- poured a golden yellow with a small white head that had almost no retention whatsoever. not very many micro bubbles to be seen when held up to the light.

S-a nice clean malt with a hint of hops comes across on the nose for me other than that smells of a normal pilsner.

T- clean crisp taste with a slight citrus working for it.

M- thin with a very nice carbonation feel to it.

O- Its whatever to me honestly. Its a pilsner nothing special but not bad. Wont be searching this one out.
