Pours clear honey orange color with fluffy white head, smells of dank piney hops slight pineapple, tastes of bright spicy hops on the front and continued bitterness as malts cool in the background for a dry finish, mouthfeel is superb, wonderfully silky smooth and rich.

12 oz canned 4/14/15. Deep amber color with a huge creamy head. Sparse lacing. Big tropical fruit aroma. A little sweetness from the caramel malt rounds out the flavor. Hoppy and bitter, but fairly balanced. Dry mouthfeel from the judicious use of hops. Medium bodied. A well made India Pale Ale.

I had been wanting to try this for years, but Cigar City does not distribute to NJ so I haven't gotten the chance to until now. Out of nowhere, I stumbled upon a can at a shop in Astoria, NY while doing some work in the area and snatched it up immediately. From the font to the color scheme, it's one of the coolest looking cans I've ever seen. And the beer inside ain't so bad either. Glad I finally got a chance to try it!

Absolute rock solid IPA. Lots of fruit, enough malt but not too much. Great hop profile. I can drink it on a chilly night or a hot day. A plus beer.

Had on tap

L: Pours a clear deep amber with a thick white head and nice lacing.

S: Lots and lots of hops. Citrusy and semi-sweet... grapefruit and spruce.

T/F: Very nicely balanced between some aggressive hops and some malts. The hop profile tends to the citrus which takes away some of the bite. Balance is the key word for this beer. Moderate carbonation and pretty smooth.

O: This is a very nicely put together beer. Hoppy... but like being smacked hard by a guy wearing kid gloves. Very enjoyable and sessionable. Would have again any time.

Lite auburn pour and off white head. Thick lace. Pine and orange juice nose. Orange slices and pine nut flavors with great malt balance. Full bodied IPA, yet still light on the tongue. Malt balances nicely with buttering hops. A very good IPA.
