Poured into a small glass from can.

Appearance - Pours a clean honey gold color. Hint of orange color. Pours a large creamy white head which settles.

Smell - Definite citrus smell, not too strong.

Taste - Again, hints of citrus. Very fresh and appealing to the mouth and tongue. Strong taste when it reaches back of mouth, not overly hoppy.

Mouthfeel- Not crisp, tangy or sour. Very fresh and feels nice. Stronger towards back of mouth.

Overall - Excellent IPA. Tropical/citrus flavors and a great profile, an excellent beer. Will purchase again.

Received beer courtesy of Newman

Deep golden color, slightly cloudy probably from dry hopping, Pours a big creamy white head with good retention.

Even through the head a nice hop aroma permeates. Citrus with an orange/grapefruit note. Has a richness and slight malty sweetness as well.

Big malty backbone, but on top of this slight sweetness is huge hop flavor - slightly tart orange, some solventy pine notes, definite hop flavor complexity. Bitterness is exceptionally smooth, and comes on gradually. No sharp break, but somewhere in the finish the assertive bitterness comes through.

Medium body and carbonation, no harshness or astringency despite the heavy hopping. Alcohol warming comes through, not surprising in a 7.5% ABV beer. Also should note I'm sampling it quite warm.

Right up there with the best of the big hop flavor/aroma, not total tongue scrapers with bitterness IPAs. Nicely balanced with no real rough edges
