A: The beer is hazy orange amber in color. It poured with wisps of white bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of pumpkin are present in the nose along with hints of spices—ginger seems to be the most prominent.
T: The taste follows the smell, having lots of flavors of pumpkins along with some hints of cinnamon and allspice.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a lot more pumpkin flavors compared to other beers in the style and isn't dominated by aromas and flavors of spices. Any traces of alcohol are well hidden.

pours a clear, dark caramel with a tiny head that poofs quickly. nose; light clove, allspice, cinnamon, pie crust, & brown sugar. taste; caramel malt, toffee, nutmeg, mellow hops, cinnamon, clove, & allspice. slightly boozy on the end, and nutmeg & clove stick around fairly heavily. high carbonation & thick, velvety mouthfeel. it's always a roll of the dice for me with pumpkin beers, and i don't see how good gourd could have done it any better. some pumpkin beers end up being a slightly modified barleywine or imperial brown ale, and those that go all out "pumpkin pie" usually end up tasting artificial and nasty. good gourd manages the pumpkin pie taste like a champ! delicious.

Pours hazy brown/orange with minimal lacing. Smells of pumpkin spices,...and more pumpkin spices.....

Taste, buttery, pumpkin pie spices...all of them..... and some pumpkin..and more pumpkin. Nice and sweet. Almost

Feel is medium, and tarty. Nice and sweet but not too sweet, that I can tell you. That would have been a disaster.

Much better than Southern Tier....but not as good as Dogfish Punkin....the original...I was hoping it would have been but they still own the Pumpkin beer market.
