Pours a dark brown with minimal head. The nose features moderate roasted malts, light coffee notes, and some creamy oatmeal character. The taste mild up front with increasingly strong roasted barley as it passes the palate. Chocolate and oatmeal present with mild hop bitterness towards the end. Moderate to high carbonation with lightish body. Overall, good flavors, just a bit on the mild side in terms of flavor.

Pours a dark brown with a 1 finger head that dissipates quickly leaving little lacing in a 16oz pub glass.

Smell is really nice. Chocolate and coffee are the main smells that I get.

Taste follows the nose. Really nice coffee flavor that reminds me of a good cup of coffee. With all the malts, it has a real nice sweetness that I really like, just it is hard to enjoy with the weather being so warm.

Mouthfeel is really smooth. Not a lot of carbonation. I could really use a little more bubbles.

Overall, a really nice beer. Would be a great beer to have when your enjoying a nice smoked brisket or something similar or when the weather is a little cooler.
