Pours an opaque dark brown, nearly black, color with a moderate tan cream head. It eventually disapated and leaves nothing by way of lacing.
Nice sweet aroma of brown sugar, nuts, mild coffee and medium roasted malts.
Taste aligns with flavor. Smooth medium roast, nutty, some chocolate. There is an increasingly subtle berry like tartness evident in the finish as well as a mild earthy hops bitterness.
Very smooth, soft and well balanced. Medium bodied and easy to drink.
A very good brown ale.

Another great beer from Cigar City Brewing. I hope this company expands their distribution to New England. Excellent brews!

Dark brown/tan and black look with a good head that lasts a bit.

Nice coffee/toffee and chocolate smell.

Tastes pretty similar to the smell. Pretty enjoyable very similar to Guinness, but better.

Good carbonation and drinks very easily.

Overall when I tried this with some coworkers everyone liked it. Easy to turn people into craft beer drinkers with this one. Too bad its only available in Florida!
