A: The beer is hazy brownish red in color. It poured with a quarter finger high beige head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and webbing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel and toasted malts with piney hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of caramel malts and notes of piney hops, the latter of which contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very good balance between the malts and hops.

Six pack copped from Bottle King in Morris Plains. Pours an amber hue with moderate frothing. Mellow aroma replete with hints of caramel and vanilla. Similar overall flavor profile.

12oz -- canned 8/22/17

Amber / brown hazy (UF?) with a 1/2" cream color head. Stands for a while before falling to a cap.
Caramel, feed store grain, faint pine.
More pronounced hops in the flavor than the aroma - piney/weedy...caramel malt, dusty cocoa (?).
Full mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation. Finishes drier than expected.
I like it, it's unique and could ride the fence of several different styles.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance had a dark burnt red color with a thin one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds leaving some messy lacing roaming all around the glass. The smell started off with a spectacular balance between the caramel / toffee / biscuity malts playing with citrus and slightly piney hops. The taste favors the malty sweetness just a tad more. Still, a nice bitterness roams in to partake in the flavor, yes, citrus/piney-ness. Nice balanced aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed to run nice and low. Stickiness hits decently but not cloying. Overall, what a nice Amber/Red ale wonderfully balanced. Of course, I’d have this again.

Amber hued with a light haziness and just a scant amount of light will seep through. There's an inch of dense and creamy brown head. Enticing aroma of piney hops and caramel in perfect balance and in moderation. The taste is very much is line with the aroma with perhaps more caramel than pine present, but my can is now nearly 7 months old. The mouth is a bit dense and thick for a red ale, but i'm thinking that is due to the over 7% ABV. I think I will revise this review eventually as I'm certain I can find more of this in the near future.
