Nice Amber dark and thick juicy beer. Head was thick and frothy. Taste of fruit and hop with a nice smooth finish. Was juicy like a TG beer with a balance that was amazing.

The reddish amber body was clear, and the head formation was two fingers thick. The aroma of the beer was well balanced between malts and hops, as I could smell grapefruit, mango, melon, toffee, and a touch of honey. The taste was quite IPA like, as there was an immediate rush of tropical fruit flavors on first sip, followed by a spicy hop flavor. There was more malt presence than an IPA, but not as much as a typical red ale. The beer was very easy to drink, and had a medium mouthfeel and a sweet aftertaste. This was a very well made, hoppy red ale.

Look: Pretty exciting red amber. I estimated it was pretty carbonated from the pour.
Smell: Fruity hops, very strong citrus smell, light malt.
Taste: Almost a 1:1 of the smell. It's like a hoppy, citrusy red ale. Honestly, the balance between the fruitiness and the bitterness is outstanding (to me).
Feel: Medium bodied, dry finish, highly carbonated without going overboard. Someone on here said "sparkling," and I would agree with that descriptor.
Overall: An red/amber ale that has balance and class. The flavors aren't obscure or surprising, but they collaborate uniquely.

Another solid beer from Cigar City;

Pours a fantastic amber color and does a decent job of maintaing that head.
Tastes almost like it smells: hops up front, with the malty portion of the beer bringing everything together. A tad bit bitter towards the end, but being a fan of IPA's...that doesn't bother me too much
