750ml bottle poured into a wine glass. Huge thanks to Sam for hooking me up with this, been wanting to try this since trying Dirac over a year ago. Bottled in 2011, cellared for over 2 years.

A- Pours an opaque dark black, not much head formss, fairly still top, bit of mocha lacing is left along the sides.

S- Rum soaked raisins, figs, a pinch of cinnamon, hint of bakers chocolate and some light dark fruits. Average aroma strength, rum pretty light, almost no booze presence, nice complexity.

T- Dark fruits, figs, lightly rum soaked raisins, just a faint pinch of cinnamon on the finish, lightly bitter chocolate, some fudge. Nice complexity, nice balance without anything dominating too much. Not overly sweet, nice complexity, tasty although age may have lost a bit of flavor.

M- Super smooth, full bodied, silky, subtle carbonation perfect for the style.

O- This beer was released about 2.5 years ago, at this point it is still holding up fairly well. I never had it fresh but I imagine at this point it's lost a little bit of the raisin and cinnamon flavor but smoothed out nicely. The rum barrels only played a very subtle role in the beer and didn't come out too much just making a subtle rum soaked raisin presence. Comparing to having Dirac fairly fresh (never had Bohr), Nielsbohrium has less of a raisin or cinnamon presence but is noticeably smoother.

NYE bottle share a Proof. Poured a pitch black with zero head. No collar, and no lacing, but some decent legs from the thick body. Aroma is of very dark malt with a lot of coffee and a touch of spice (cinnamon, clove or nutmeg?). Taste has a lot of raisin up front, with the deep malt in the middle, a touch of booze (rum) throughout. Extremely low carbonation but that thick body lends to a good mouthfeel.

Poured into old faithful.

Jet black pour. Mocha head that has a reddish tint around the perimeter of it. One full finger thick. Smell is complex. Figgy, green apple, cinnamon, raison, and cookie. Not as thick in the mouth like I had hoped. It's not thin, just not Huna like. Taste is alcohol and green apple right up front. Quickly gives way to cinnamon and raisin.

A very solid beer. Certainly glad the opportunity was given to try it.

Pours black with a mocha head, lacing and pure viscosity around my bruery tulip. Aroma is boozy, rum, brown sugar and spices. Taste is smoother than the nose. Rum, brown sugar, raisins and cinnamon. This beer has the classic ccb viscosity. I love it!

My uncle from Tampa was coming home to visit and I asked him to stop at the brewery and surprise me with a few beers and after hinting that I loved stouts he brought me back two bombers. I poured the bomber into my DFH snifter to find a body that was black as night with a small chocolate colored head that left very little lacing.

The aroma is complex with a lot going on, with rum, raisins, dried fruits, and of course hints of chocolate, coffee and molasses. The taste is very good, very complex and enjoyable. Its a heavy stout with a lot going on, but at the same time all of the different flavors work so well together with no one flavor overpowering the others, and that's what makes this beer so enjoyable to drink. It took me about a hour and a half to drink the bomber and while it warmed up it the flavors really came out and it became more of a joy to drink.

This is a heavy beer that coats the pallet well but at the same time the flavors, carbonation and alochol are blended together so well that its easy to drink.

Overall this is an excellent imperial stout, I am so thankful that I got two of these so I can sit on the other bottle for a while and enjoy it down the line in a year or two. If you are a fan of imperial stouts this beer is a must try!

Poured from 750ml 2011 bomber into tulip glass. Pours black with a brown head that lasts well throughout. Heavy roasted malty aroma, chocolate, rum, caramel, vanilla, and of course, raisins. Sweet malty taste, lots of chocolate, rum, raisins, and some wood. Very nice and prolonged aftertaste. Bitter and roasty finish. Overall, an interesting beer, but one I will probably not seek out again.
