Draft, Shaker Pint

A – A good inch of fine white foam on top of a straw-colored, slightly hazy, bubbly beer. Bright and inviting.

S – Orange peel, Caribbean spices, tangy yeast. Some untoasted white bread. Plenty of lemon-lime and tropical hop notes.

T – Very citrusy, lemon-lime quite prominent, with orange and white pepper notes. Mild malty sweetness balanced with a hop bite.

M – Very bright, bubbly, with a Brut champagne-like finish. Barely sweet and barely bitter. Great for washing away mild food flavors.

O – I had this beer for the first time paired with raw oysters and spicy horseradish cocktail sauce, and it was an incredible match. Perfect for mild seafood, sushi, etc. Probably my favorite Cigar City regular offering.

Canned 9/11/2014.

Served cold into a goblet, Florida Cracker is a hazy pale yellow color with thin white head.

Aroma is sweet, yeasty, and slightly fruity.

Flavor is sweet but balanced with just enough bitterness to get by. Lemon, coriander, and Belgian wit yeast seem to be the predominant flavor notes.

Mouthfeel is light in body and appropriately carbonated for the style.

Overall a very good American take on this style.
