Pours a cloudy orange color with a nice head that takes its time dissipating leaving some nice lacing in a clear plastic cup (it's all I had while on vacation by the pool).

Smell is really nice, Banana and Clove. Smells of some of the good hefes from Germany that I've had.

Taste is really good as well. I get the clove, banana, and wheat malts. Really awesome taste.

Mouthfeel is nice and carbonated. I can see where all that awesome head came from.

Overall, this is a really good beer. Reminds me a lot of a good German hefe that I had not too long ago. I am on vacation and this beer is not available locally. Guess I need to stock up before I head home.

appearance; color is hazy straw, pours a finger of sticky, white head that settles into a ring of lacing.

smell; belgian yeast, citrus peel, and corriander.

taste; wheat flavor is intensified by belgian yeast. coriander and orange peel linger on the tongue, along with floral and vanilla notes.

mouthfeel; light/ medium body. medium carbonation.

overall; a filling, more complex take on wheat beers, i can see the appeal but i am not sure if i would ever buy it again.

16oz pour on tap at Hot and Soul in Ft. Lauderdale. Poured into a unlabeled pint glass 5/21/2014.

A- Slightly hazy straw yellow body, one finger white head, some retention and a bit of lacing. Looks the part of a wit, though it seems to have more of a pilsner character.

S- Wheaty, biscuity pale malt sweetness, a little bit of spices- coriander, citrus peel. Smells good, nothing special though.

F- Executed fairly well- biscuity pale malt sweetness mixed in with coriander and citrus. Some citrus peel character, a slight bitterness that I can't place, but not very bitter at all. Enough wheat character, not exactly a hefeweizen but definitely can tell this is a wit.

M- Lighter in body, refreshing, very easy to drink yet not watery at all. Refreshing and no off-flavours at all. Everything is quite agreeable here.

O- Solid white ale, nothing special but certainly a good choice for a warm summer evening.
