750 mL bottle poured into a CCB snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance - As always, it's the blackest of stouts. Small dark mocha head. Chocolate ring around the top of the beer. Stains the glass as I swirl it.
Smell - Chocolate, rum, coffee, barrel notes of wood and vanilla. Slight spice from the chilies. Awesome, even though I don't love rum barrels.
Taste - Sweet rum flavors up front and then the chilies. The chocolate and chilies blend perfectly. The barrel adds a hint of char, vanilla, molasses, and toffee. The sweeter flavors are kicked up just a bit in this variant.
Mouthfeel - Thick and chewy. Low carbonation. Tingly booze. Very slow drinking.
Overall - Extremely complex. Delicious, but over the top. Again, it's tough to compare. There's always something lost and something gained this these Hunahpu variations.

Full of black and brown with a solid half inch of tan head to it. Aroma was sweet rum and boozy alcohol. Way too boozy.
Tastes like it is 60 proof. So hot. It tastes like burning. Any peppers, cinnamon or barrel otherwise is just obliterated. Fuck this beer in the ass.
