Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at CCB tasting room. Poured into a snifter.

A: Very dark brown, essentially opaque. Good sized tan head with great lacing. Not much visible carbonation.

S: Chocolate, cacao, and some heat from the bourbon.

T: Follows the nose: huge malt, chocolate, dark spices, a little peppery. The bourbon comes on at the end.

M: Thinner mouthfeel for a stout, but smooth & creamy. The finish is a little boozy but not overwhelming.

O: This is good; a significant improvement over the base beer. Definitely would drink again if they ever brew it. And I got this sample by the slimmest of margins, as the keg blew immediately after my snifter pour.
