Pours a cloudy peach color with two fingers of beige colored head. Head falls away quickly, nice lacing & less than average head retention

S: Pears, appleskins, peaches & floral hops

T: Follows the nose, dryness, leafy hops & a little bit of green banana up front. More orchard fruit as this warms, a little bit of lemony & leafy hops. Finishes fruity & with an ever so slight metallic & woody hop twinge

MF: Medium/Light bodied, slight carbonation

Easy to drink, but nothing too interesting here

A big thanks to the legendary woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of lemons, some wheat. Taste is tangy, lots of lemons, some wheat, refreshing and enjoyable. Feels medium bodied in the mouth an overall is a fine summertime beer.

Snagged a bottle of this for just a buck at the house of 1,000 beers.
A - Holly over carbonation man! A light pour produced well over two inches of head. Color is a a slighty hazy bright yellow with an orange tint. Looks like a good pale ale to me.
S - Spicy wheat meets some floral hops and a touch of bready malts. Reminds me of Headwaters pale ale in a way.
T - Very lemon tasting with mild wheat tones and also hops. Pity I was expecting more of a hop presence because of the smell but this may be an old bottle. Still very drinkable with at least some wheat flavor.
M - Kind of watery but it drinks well. Very bubbly and champagne like.

Overall a very quaff able beer for just a dollar but it may be past its prime. Pick it up if it's on a good discount since it's still a very drinkable ale.

Another one brewed for the Tampa Bay Brew Bus. This beer pours out a hazy golden yellow, with a tiny head. A uninspiring pour for a style where the appearance is often a beer's best aspect. The aroma is lemony, with grainy malts and a bit of citrus hops. The taste is laid-back and wholly enjoyable - with sharp lemon and a light citrus malt briefly peeking in over a grainy malt and wheat backbone. The mouthfeel is light and well-carbonated, and the drinkability is good. Overall, this is a pretty good American Wheat. I have to say, my hopes were up for this beer after the excellent American Wheat that CCB brewed for the Criterium bike festival later this year. I was kind of hoping this would be the same formula brought back year round, but it's not. Are Wheat There Yet? is a bit more traditional.
