In a taste off vs Dales Pale Ale, my #1 APA.
a) Looks go slightly to Dales, but it's fine looking. Hazed light amber body, supports a one finger rocky thick pillowy, swamp head that lasts and laces.
s) Pineapple / papaya dominant, tropical fruit upfront alongside floral hops on a malt core.
t) As with smell, it's loaded with tropical candied fruit hop flavors followed by flowers and sticky oil. Slightly marred by soapiness. It's a fine hop forward, fruity pale ale on a solid malt base. Super-packed flavors for a 5% abv. (but too juicy fruit and floral soap for me)
f) Smooth, juicy, refreshing, crisp. A touch soapy and oily, finishes a bit smokey and coaty.
o) Solid mid-pack APA from a great brewer.

Invasion is a really nice, smooth and drinkable beer. It is very hop forward, and finishes clean with a touch of malt. A very good beer to give to your friends who aren't big into craft beer, as the taste is just familiar enough to them that they won't be scared away.

Drank a 6 pack of this while at the beach recently. Bright, fruity aroma with lots of citrus and pale malt. Very balanced with lots of flavor, though not what Jai Alai is. Nothing bad to note about this one. A great summer/beach beer.

Nice American pale ale. Kind of like an IPA with the hops ever so slightly turned down. The color is just slightly darker than a standard lager. The west coast hops in the smell is subtle enough to differentiate, but not by much. The flavor starts with malt but very quickly goes to the hops. Not sure what variety, but in addition to the citrusy notes it's almost a little grassy. I wouldn't drink all night, but a fine beer I would definitely have again

Canned 6/23/17.
Poured to a nonic. Pours a nice medium gold, mixed size bubbles, mostly tiny. Reasonable lacing.
Nice aroma, citrus, pine.
Taste is a nice hop start, mild malt in middle, dry finish, hint of alcohol.
Overall I really like it.

12 oz can, canned on 4/28/17. Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with a big rocky bubbly white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is subdued - biscuity malt with some fruity floral hops.

The flavor is sweet bready malt with fruit and a good amount of slightly harsh bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice hoppy pale.

Freshie can (canned 10/29/14 stamped on the bottom, so about 10 days in the can) from Decicco's in Ardsley, NY

Fresh hop nose, pours typical near clear, lighter almond amber. Frothy off white head, thats on the looser side. Leaves fluffy strands of stick.

Pleasing hopped up pale. Resins and pine early then some soft tropical fruit in the finish. Nice.
