I had this beer on tap while at a food show in a casino. It poured a pastel reddish with a one finger head that lasted for a while and then faded into oblivion.
This beer smelled so much like strawberies it was rediculious.
The taste was even more so. I could barely tell that I was drinking beer. It was so fruity that I barely picked up anything else exept for a bready maltiness in the aftertaste. There was no hops within ten miles of this beer.
It was however very refreshing. This beer would be a great substitute for orange juice at 9 A.M.
Mouthfeel was light to medium with a pretty vibrant carbonation.

Had this at Toronto's Beer Bistro on June 21, 2007. The beer was poured by the waiter. It had a strong unmistakably strawberry aroma that captured me right away. It was a dark red in the glass. The mouthfeel was very champagne like. The taste was very good. A truly enjoyable beer.

This is hardly even beer but damn if it isn't tasty. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys fruity beer, it captures a more authentic strawberry flavor than most other beers I've had. Body is a deep pink, nearly red, with a thin, pale pink head. Smells like strawberry jam, sweet and heavy on the ripe stawberry scents. Taste is similarly delicious, like strawberry puree. Very sweet but slighly tart also. There's not much typical beer flavor here. If I really dissect it, I get a little hint of Belgian yeast and grain flavors, but it's almost just liquefied strawberry. Feel is medium, somewhat low carbonation, bordering on syrupy. I think I would prefer if it was a little lighter and fizzier, it seems it would complement the flavor better. A really delicious, super fruity beer that I would suggest anyone who likes strawberries try out.

Veiled amber color with absolutely no head. Delicious smell and flavor of fresh fruity strawberry. A little light with a pleasant fruity finish.

Super flavorful beer to try at least once. Sure you almost only taste strawberry, but this is what it's supposed to deliver. Perfect for those who doesn't like typical beer.

Interesting stuff that I may try again when it's on sale. Like many fruitier beers, this one is a little high on the medicinal character scale but it's not overpowering. Some reviewer ratings are low but I think you need to take this beer for what it is - a fruit bier. It's different but it's also quite interesting and tasty.

There's no questioning the style as soon as you open a bottle of Fruli Strawberry Beer. It smells like sweet ripe strawberries with wit-like bubblegum and also some medicinal phenolics. The added orange peel and coriander aren't obvious but they provide an overall aroma that reminds me of some or my wife's potpourri blends.

It pours a hazy strawberry red (surprise) with fine carbonation making a dense and fizzy but short-lived head with no lacing. It looks more like a wine cooler than a beer but the colour is attractive.

It hits the palate syrupy smooth & sweet and the strawberry flavour is intense - a direct impact from the 30% strawberry juice. The phenolics are mild and there is very low bitterness in the finish. The aftertaste is the same and lingers nicely. The carbonation is fine but low and doesn't make the beer course.

Good stuff.

Poured from a 8.4 oz mini bottle with unique striped foiling.

Pours a murky brownish red with a small mildly pink head that quickly dissipates. Not the strongest lookign brew.

Smell is amazing, pure strawberry with a little yogurt scent. Smells soooo delicious, not really like beer though.

Taste is well of strawberries what else? A little bit of yogurtyness and some smokey malt flavor. Not too bad. Mouthfeel is silky smooth, this is a delectable dessert beer.

Overall, yes it is a fruity beer, but still worthy.

8.4 fl oz. bottle, with label on back saying best before 03/2014. An intriguing looking bottle & design. My second beer from Brouwerij Huyghe, the other one being Delirium Tremens. Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass.

A - Pours a quarter inch of white fizzy head which quickly disappears into nothing. Body color is a hazy dark salmon pink / light red color. Bubbles floating to the top, and some light sediment twirling around. Nice thick lacing on the way down.

S - Immediately after uncapping this, the smell of genuine strawberry hit me. I search for it, yet I don't get any coriander or orange peel, though.

T - Luscious tart sugary strawberries. Has some other natural berry attributes to it, also. Tastes almost like a fruit-roll-up. A nice, refreshing, sweet beer. Searching for some yeast or malt, but again I find nothing. Moderate carbonation.

M - Feel is sweet and sticky, with no real lingering flavors of any kind.

Overall, refreshing, delicious, and very natural tasting. Highly drinkable at 4.10% abv, yet I do wish this was packaged in normal 12 oz. bottles instead of such a smaller serving. Probably a bit too sweet of a beer to session, but I could drink a ton of these. A try again beer, for sure.

Früli Strawberry Beer has orange/pink colour and a 3 mm head that fades to good lacing. The smell is very strawberries and cream. The flavour is sweet with a strawberry aftertaste. There is some yeastiness. This beer is foamy in the mouth. Delicious.

8.4 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass.

Appearance: Pours a dark hazy reddish color, like strawberry juice. Foamy light head with good retention.

Smell: Aroma of strawberries, slightly sweet with some earthy/green notes.

Taste: Really just like the smell.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with some light tingly carbonation.

Drinkability: Low ABV, easy to drink.

A nice strawberry beer, definitely the best of these that I've tried. Still not a big fan of this style, but this is a good one.

Poured from 12oz bottle

A: Pours a semi-opaque light red body with a small off-white almost pink head with low retention and no lacing.

S: YUM. Strong strawberries with hints of orange wheat and traces of some spiciness.

T: Strong strawberries hit upfront turning into hints of "beer" the ending still has strong wheat with hints of strawberries and other fruits.

M: Well carbonated with little bubbles dancing across the tongue.

Overall: I enjoyed this, not the best of the style, but for the price it's amazing.

On tap at The Abbey in Baltimore.

Appearance: As you can imagine, a Strawberry color. Some nice haze and not entirely clear.

Smell: Strawberry and malty fruit flavors. Seems legit and without extract, but who knows.

Taste: A nice balance between sweetness and tartness with the strawberries and malty flavors. Lingering fruity finish.

Mouthfeel: Champagne-like and sparkling carbonation that works really well.

Drinkability: A solid fruit beer, and certainly one I'd drink again. This was my first strawberry beer too I think.

A - poured a three finger fluffy head - that dissipated to half a finger - good lacing - deep red stawberry colour - cloudy

S - huge strawberry scent with some wheat balancing it out

T - sweet strawberries with a witbier like backbone - cloves - some bitter orange peel in the finish

M - really enjoyed this aspect - sweet yet tart and dry - very creamy and smooth despite the sweetness

O - why have I avoided this!!! Really enjoyable and I will now grab this from time to time when I have a sweet tooth.
