What a wild beer. 750 ml bottle split between a tulip and snifter.

DT pours a gorgeous clear golden color and is topped by big pillowy head of foam that quickly recedes and leaves no lacing. Per the style, carbonation jets from the bottom of the glass. While probably the best example of the style in appearance, the color is nice.

The weak appearance is compensated for by the beautiful aroma of DT. It is full of ripe fruit aromas, particularly green apple, banana, and some apricot. There is some floral hop aroma to contrast the sweetness and some bready, biscuity yeast presence as well. A seductive beer on the nose, to say the least.

What a great beer to drink. Sweet, tart, and spicy all within the same sip. The beer starts with a slight spicy note before transitioning into tart ripe fruit, namely banana and green apple. DT finishes with a sweet dryness and bready yeast. As the beer warms, the flavors round out more. For such a high ABV beer, this is supremely refreshing and dangerously drinkable. Stellar stuff here.

Per the style, DT is silky and smooth with effervescent carbonation and has a light, crisp body with a dry finish. Some sweetness and spiciness lingers in the finish. The alcohol is deceivingly masked, and it's easy to take big gulps of this, but trust me – this is one to savor, not to quaff.

If DT is available in your area, absolutely check it out. It is a seductive beer and leaves an excellent impression.

Pours a hazy golden with yeasty flakes. Nice white head though. Aromas of banana and citrus peel. Taste begins with a tart, spicy note, followed by some light grain. The finish is fruity and earthy. Super high carbonation and a nice mouth. Overall quite tasty, but pretty expensive.
