Dark brown, with reddish reflexes. Scarce foam, brown in colour, not persistent.
The smell: definitely marsala. Then dried plum, raisins, winey, with a background of nut. Point of herbal. At the opening of the bottle, it spreads a very strong alcohol smell, but quickly vanishing.
The taste is bitter, with aromatic herbs, cocoa, dust, raisins, plum, soil. After a while, some toffee and sweetness in the background too.
The body is essentially null.
In the aftertaste again the marsala. The plum, raisins, very persistent (maybe too much...). A hint of sweetness.
