Coming in a short 330ml brown bottle, BB 04/2014, served lightly chilled in a stemmed wine goblet.

A: pours a dark golden to light amber colour, coming with a thin layer of off-white foamy head and moderate fizziness.
S: lightly honey-ish, the aroma upfront also comes with plentiful notes of sweet grass, sweet citrus, Taiwanese Ai-Yu herbal jelly, almond syrup, and sweet lactic yeastiness. The sweet-ish notes are pretty pleasant, yet overpowering the other aroma elements all in all.
T: lightly sour-sweet yeasty with an intriguing mixed flavour as of sweetened Ai-Yu jelly, lactic acid drink (such as the Japanese “Calpis”), powdered green tea, very very light maltiness, turning rather well-attenuated or somewhat dry-ish towards a short and bland finish with only restrained flavour and undertones of boiled honey and even phenol.
M&O: moderate on carbonation, thin-medium bodied, well-attenuated but the flavour profile seems to be rather simplistic and there’s very precious little to be picked up from this beer. A very boring one to me, honestly.
