From a 1,82 liter growler. Copper in colour with a thick beige head. Some maple syrup on the nose and some hops. This beer taste right on the money for a ESB with a good malt complexity, some hops and an nice bitterness in the long finale. This beer is better fresh.

On tap they pour a glass of foam that slowly constructs into a clear dark amber color, with a red hue, but with no visual activity. Creamy beige 2-3 finger high definition head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with faint lacing. Flavors of roasted grains like barley, some nutmeg, a bit of ginger, caramel, lemon, peppercorn, leafy tea spices. More sweet than bitter, feel of biscuits. Slick oily medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Medium strength finish, well intensified, lingering sweet toffee, flowery hops, and faint earthy spices. Lacking the sharp crispiness from a true ESB. Okay freshness. Tasty flavors that are nicely balanced. Overall good quality craft.
