Imperial IPA, a doubling of our house IPA, Space. A chasm of pits and peaks, swollen with caramel and sap. The water is chummed, here come the sharks.

Amber brown color with white head and lots of bubbles clinging to the glass. Tastes soft and sweet, with caramel, malt, and bit of earthy bitterness on the finish.

This is my first review as I made an account largely for this beer. I'm usually an EPA or mild IPA guy. Too much citrus or bitterness can be a belly ache for me. On top of that, this was an expensive 4 pack by comparison to many, so I was understandably hesitant to even try it.
What convinced me to give it a go was a combination of fondness of Half Acre brewery in general, and the aesthetics of the can. I was so pleasantly surprised that despite a 10% ABV, it was smooth and drinkable. Beautiful pour and color as well. I'm buying out my local liquor store.

Other higher abv beers can hide the alcohol taste better. Other than that, solid offering.

T: delivers, delivers, delivers.
F: smooth, rich
O: yeah baby, works for me.

Pours a copper color with a finger of head. The nose has a little bit of citrus and a lot of pine. The flavor profile starts with a solid caramel malt backbone. The finish is bitter, but not overly so.
For a double-digit abv effort, this baby hides the alcohol pretty well.
This offering drinks pretty hearty for a modern day DIPA.

Powerful IPA and my first from Half Acre -
Deep bronze color with modest head -
Strong flavor with a little alcohol burn -
Not for the light beer drinker -
Ice cold in a frosted glass with a WT101 chaser it was fantastic ❤️

C: Golden yellow, minimal head (probably from ABV), great lacing with spots and strides, transparent with slight haze
S: Deep hop smell, grapefruit. Great aroma
T: Similar to smell grapefruit bitter west coast hop taste profile.
F: Medium body, wet, slight effervescence that is subtle
Overall: Great beer. Canned on 12/13/22. 16fl oz can. $4.75 for the can. 10% ABV. Would recommend would buy again!

Canned 12/8/22; drank 1/8/23 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dark orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice eggshell head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Watermelon Jolly Rancher, dry ganja, mild orange peel & faint booze heat notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Watermelon Jolly Rancher, dry ganja, orange peel & booze heat flavors.
This was dry, bitter & abrasive. It's bold, certainly, but it's not one I'll seek out again.
