Appearance/Look: Pitch black and pouring really thick. Nice head with a decent retention.
Aroma/Smell: Wonderful coconut, Coco, coffee, toffee and molasses.
Taste/Flavor: It matches the nose pretty closely. Nice bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel/Texture: Thick like you have no idea. Very smooth.
Overall Impression: What an amazing beer.

12oz can. Bottom stamp reads '092623 2966/2991 14:4? TRIPLE THICC'.
Black colored body with very thin mahogany brown back lit edge. Tan head quickly reduces to an interrupted cap and thin ring. Scattered lacing spots are left behind.
Aroma of dark roasted malts soaked in bourbon, plus some sweet coconut. Coffee is absent.
Taste is sweet dark roasted malts flavored with bourbon, but the flavor remains sweet with coconut, caramel, and vanilla. Coffee brings a touch of bitterness late in the profile. Lots of flavored chocolate, and this exists in the aftertaste.
Thicker than medium mouth feel. Coats the mouth and tongue. Quiet carbonation.
Coffee provides a base for the sweeter expressions of coconut and chocolate.

2021 can, consumed 1/6/24
Look at this beer, just beautiful with the tall, mocha colored head and light blocking stout black liquid, looking good.
The taste, I think it’s likely morphed a little in the last couple of years, I got tons of molasses and coffee and fudge and dark fruits to be named later, but no coconut. It’s almost, but not quite, pastry stout sweet. And it’s really, really good.
The feel is mouth filling with viscous goodness, this is a sipper, and the body almost insists on that.
OA, if I see this on the shelf I will buy it again, and not sit on it for two years next time.

2023 can. Tan head. Dark brown color.
Coffee and roast. Has a faint toasted coconut flavor, but not a coco bomb. Fudge, chocolate, oak. Some vanilla. Warming bourbon. Some molasses and dark dried fruits. Raisins, licorice. Really solid.

2023 can; pours black with a dark head that leaves a ring. Nose is light coconut and lighter coffee. Flavor is solid coffee with wisps of coconut. Finish is full, creamy coffee/bourbon. Quite enjoyable.

2021 vintage review
Benthic has quickly become one of my favorites - not just among beers with adjuncts, but any BA stout. Not only do coconut and coffee blend so well together with their base, but the mouthfeel and body are insane for any stout, let alone one with coffee. In my experience, the body is unmatched for any coffee stout beer that is distributed this much.
Not much else to say. It's a world class beer with a great body, perfectly carbbed, and a deft hand when it comes to the coconut and coffee. I actually think that the base has a wicked large amount of coconut, and more than should be expected for the "base".
