Utterly delicious spin on their regular Oktoberfest.
Deep saturated reddish brown with bright clarity, tight cap of light tan foam, spotty residual lacing.
Aroma is soft and malty, light sweet vanilla from the oak, pretty prominent.
Taste is very oaky, sweet vanilla segues into toasted malt just about perfectly. A malty Oktoberfest floating in a wooden marshmallow frame. Light to medium bodied, very drinkable with a pleasant oaky woodiness, dry in the finish.
Overall this is great stuff, could drink it all night. Pretty much a perfect marriage of a toasty malty lager and woody vanilla oak spirals.
