-spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Bright and juicy tang orange colored body is dense with a bready textured head atop. Standing 0.5 inches with a moderate rate of stay provides a good lasting appeal atop a juicy colored body. Strong lace adhesion along the vessel walls. Really love the bright, almost pastel coloring.

S: Perfumy and sweet citrus-lime accents are backed with some yeasty applesauce and wet juicy pear. Tropical and orange notes with a soft background of grassy onion hops.

T: Juicy tropical nature, pineapple orange, first comes about with some fresh wet greenery. Apples and white grapes and some breakfast fruit is fresh and wet with some soft grapefruit flowery notes. Light tart oranges, very flavor forward, a ton of whirlpool I'm guessing with some resiny citrus juices. Spicy onion-grassy fade.

M: Dense orange juice like body, spicy tropical delight.

O: Wet tropical flavor forward flavor has a fruity and sweet nature and is very drinkable. Grapefruit melon, oranges, and pineapples with a pleasant perfumy aroma makes for a strong a favorable first impression that keeps you enticed throughout the entire drink. Great spectrum of flavor, wet and juicy flavor, mouthwatering and outstanding as an N.E. ipa.

16oz to IPA glass.
L: Mild haze.. almost clear. Little head.. light lacing.
S: Nicely balanced hops of citrus and light tropical. Very well done.
T: Excellent blend of tropical, fruit and citrus flavors.. none of which are overdone.
F: Light to medium MF, smooth, yet lightly bittered front to back.
O: Another winner from HA. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of access to HA beers ..but this is a well done beer that I really enjoyed!

Keg @ Small Bar, Bristol - Pours hazy yellow with a medium white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - Citrus and tropical hops - tangerine/mango/guava. Taste - As mouthfeel, hint of resin, dry bitter finish. Well produced IPA.

16oz can, "WELCOME HOME OLIVER 06/22/18" is stamped on the can. Hazy apricot colored ale with a foamy off-white colored head. Nice juicy tropical hop aroma of mango, orange, and pineapple. Complex flavors meld well together with notes of pineapple, citric tangerine, fruit cocktail juice, piney mango, pear, strawberry, very light caramel, and maybe some wheat. Creamy and smooth, pleasant carbonation, modestly bitter finish. A fruit cocktail IPA of sorts - very good flavors and quite unique. The brewer mentions "all tangerine and strawberries" in its description - I get that. Not the most bitter IPA but I find it to be very refreshing and easy to drink.

Picked up a can at Tin Bucket the other day.

The beer pours a hazy golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, I pick up considerable tropical fruit, orange citrus and light pine. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, but the malty sweetness just struck me as a bit much and out of balance. There's some hoppy bitterness on the palate, but it really isn't enough to counter the sweet malt in this beer. The alcohol is a bit more noticeable than I was expecting as well, and this beer seemed pretty boozy for a 7% abv IPA. Mouthfeel is medium bodied to full, with some noticeable heat from the alcohol on the finish.

A decent IPA, but not as good I was expecting, coming from an IPA/APA master like half acre. Not sure this is an IPA I'll want to try again any time soon.

Thrilled to be 7th reviewer of Dungeons which for me is next to pineapple juice.
a) Pours a juicy, cloudy golden body, opaque with stiff white head, that rises 3 fingers and falls to a slather of lace and cap.
s) I get overripe pineapple dominant, and if I wanted this much pineapple juice I'd order some, (but I dont). Ripe
t) The pineapple wash is peppered with dank, tangerine, dry orange rind, and finishes cheeky and bitter. More interesting than the aroma. big with lots of facets wins it a 4.
f) I find the bitter finish interesting and twisty, but not as clean as I would like.
o) Like Augie Carton I think a 16oz is a great size for an IPA. 4x16 = 64 vs 6x12 = 72 (Course I prefer the latter, but the former for strong beers/ fine beers is aok with me) This beer deserves the bigger can.

Canned 6/21/18; drank 7/28/18 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Pine, grapefruit, mild caramel & faint white wine notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Pine, caramel & grapefruit flavors up front; dry wheat & faint white wine notes on the finish.

A lot going on, which is appreciated, but ultimately not in my IPA wheelhouse. Worth trying.
