Looks healthy clear golden with much bubbles rising from bottom. Creamy white thick head which recedes slowly.Smells like ripe cantaloupe, berries, caramel apple. Taste is similar to smell. Feels well carbonated and balanced. Nice hop bite. This is sort of a weird brew. I never had a double pale ale. Many DIPA. There is also one hop that stands out Simcoe ? Not totally sure ,but at a warmer temperature I get a pronounced onion flavor.

poured from a can. Got this gem from a package store on LI, NY.
this is a phenomenal beer with a light feel which is exceptional especially for its somewhat high alcohol content. I drank a few of these during a hot saturday and couldn't be happier. This is a wonderful beer that is drinkable even during summer days. Well done.

16oz can, stamped: THAT'S A LOT OF CHEESE 02/21/18. Slight haze to an amber colored ale with a creamy off-white head. Big juicy & tropical nose: mango, citrus, passion fruit, melon, sweet caramel malt. Juicy hop flavors as expected with notes of sweet piney mango, orange zest, grapefruit, and a hint of pineapple coupled with a big malt backbone of grain and caramel. Fuller body with lively carbonation on the palate, alcohol is more pronounced than I'd like it to be, finishes bittersweet with a punch of piney hops. Very solid as expected. Glad to find it & glad to try it.

Tall can, "Thats a lot of cheese" "2-22-18" stamped on the bottom,,,thanks to Matty 3 names for the can.

Pours with just a hint of haze, lasting lite khaki cap, leaves nice looking low sheeting and spotty lacing.

Herbal and dank hopped up nose,

Earthy, herbal, tea infused and yes, again dank n hopped up brew....flavorful with waves of west coast hoppy goodness...well done and well worth a try

Had on tap. I love what half acre does with there combinations of hops and yeast, but this one felt a bit disjointed. The smell was very inviting, with the floral hops leading the charge. The taste was a mix of floral notes, spicy hops, a robust yeast or wheaty finish along with an awkward passing citrus taste. Just felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be. That being said the feel was very, very solid

7 week-old can poured into a snifter. Slightly hazy golden-amber color with a frothy 2-finger white head. Great lacing in the glass. Impressive aroma with floral notes, citrus, and some bready malt. The taste followed closely, mainly orange and bready notes, well balanced IMO. Clean and crisp bitterness on the finish. Outstanding APA.

Poured 16oz can into snifter. A golden apricot color with a 2 finger foamy white head. Good retention and lacing on the glass. Aromas of floral and bitter citrus hops and some sweet caramel malts. A good amount of citrus and pine kick it off, followed by some light grapefruit and tropical fruit; layers of bready and caramel malts. A nice light, but sticky feel that finishes on the dry side. Easy drinking and very flavorful APA.

Hazy burnt orange color with a soapy off-white head. The nose has sweet, fruity citrus hops, and a significant caramalt component.

The hops are very forward on the taste, and they fade quite nicely into the malt backbone. The “regular” Daisy Cutter is one of my favorite APA’s, and this is in that league, IMHO.
