Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a can. Canned on 10/25/18.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice slightly hazy golden hue with a one finger head that faded slowly to leave light wisps and a creamy blanket.

S - Aromas of some almost sudsy hops, slightly green, some light spicy notes as well. Flashes of citrus and tropical notes. Little bit of pine and maybe just a little bit of earthy hops.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Decent green hops, really sweet peach and tropical mango. Almost getting to be cloying sweet for an IPA. Some more of those spicy hops, flashes of earthy notes. Thankfully not getting onion but it's not exactly appealing. Definitely drinks old with sweeter malts in there.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little flashes of alcohol as well.

O - Overall this beer certainly had potential and I would have really enjoyed trying it fresh. Unfortunately, at it's current state the negatives heavily outweigh the pros.

Canned 10/25/18

Pours a nice pillowy foamy 1+ finger head that fades slowly, great retention and lacing, mostly clear slight sediment laden pale blond almost straw color

Nose loads of juicy citrusy hops and pine resin as well, some onion pine dankness mixes with nice citrus, stone fruit, grapefruit, and mild tropical notes, a touch of malt sweetness and alcohol

Taste brings more hops out front, a little sweet malt balance with touch of warming alcohol, hops get a bit dank again with more mild vegetal onion and pine, but also brings mild citrus, more fruity flavors stone fruit and grapefruit with a little generic tropical and papaya, and hint of berry, getting slightly spicy later as well as grassy, a touch of creamy oat and toasted wheat characters, drier but slight sticky finish

Mouth is med to fuller bod, a little creamy silky but not much, decent carb, little warming alcohol

Overall eh, hops mix good characters with that earthy dank pine and onion of the Mosaic, could be a lot better without that, but otherwise a decent base beer

7.8% DIPA featuring 2-row and Vienna malts, malted oats, malted wheat, and Simcoe, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops... 10/26/18 canning...

Kinda like a "pilsener yellow" if there is such a thing - with a finger or two of white head on top... Getting lots of lemon, green melon, and unripe stone fruit impressions... Moderately bitter, mildly sweet... Has something of an astringency to it... I don't know, something a little off about it far as my personal tastes go, despite the really awesome looking can and solid hop bill.. Maybe its just me...

Can dated 10/26/18. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is almost totally clear golden orange with a white head. Nose is nice mix of fruit, seems like peach and mango and general citrus. Taste follows with the fruit up front then a a smidge of mild maltiness coming up in the middle and through the end with it, plus some dankness coming through in the end leading to medium bitterness, lingering fruit flavors. Mouthfeel is medium thin, pretty crisp. Overall really nicely balanced beer. New school IPA fruity hop smells and flavors in a none hazy package. Good stuff.

Poured 16oz can into snifter. The beer color is a beautiful clear golden yellow. Produced a nice 2.5 finger white head, some nice lacing. I really like the aroma from the Simcoe, Amarillo and Mosaic hops. It is sweet tropical fruit with a bit of bitterness wrapped in. Flavors are definitely mango and pineapple with some hints of peach and a touch of resin. Malts are light and do not overtake the hop flavors. Feel is light, refreshing and dry with soft carbonation. Great IIPA.
