Notes: Whirlpool additions of Amarillo Cryo and Mosaic were followed up by a double dry hop of Citra, Mosaic Cryo, Amarillo Cryo and an experimental strain that puts out an aromatic profile like the exhaust fan at your local, earth-friend smoothie joint. Some classic bitterness keeps this beer tethered to history, but it pumps out and into pulp-scape.

Milky orange in color with yellowish hues and an opaque, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy white foam with medium low retention. Fruity, sweet orange, pineapple rind, and pink grapefruit with a mellow dankness. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation and easy pleasant boozy warmth. Fruity citrus and tropical flavors with medium low bitterness and a solid malty backbone. Finished semi-dryly with tapering fruity and malty notes. Fantastic aromas, fruity and very easy drinking.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and cotton candy are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries and lychee fruit along with notes of cotton candy and hints of oranges. There is a moderate amount of bitterness, which particularly stands out in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is also a bit of juiciness.
O: This beer tastes like a classic IPA that has shades of New England IPA properties, particularly with its juiciness.

16oz can, date stamped 01/21/20. Brilliantly hazy light orange colored DDH DIPA is caoped by a frothy white head. Juicy tropical fruit, pineapple, and citrus aroma with faint pine. Lots of pineapple flavors go with the peach, tangerine citrus, pine, and guava; very light caramel malt base. Fuller body, ample carbonation, alcohol is warming, with a bittersweet finish. This was really good, as expected.

Can to tulip.
Can stamped 01/27/20 on the bottom.
The appearance was a nice looking fairly thick burnt orange color. Nice level foamy white head settled off diligently to leave a mild lace.
The aroma had some shaved orange peel and pulp, tangerines, white peach, some grassy smooth sweet then a creamy sweet biscuity malt character.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side indicating most of the prior mentioned aromas to roll into each other nicely. Mild aftertaste of creamy orange pulp, white peach, a touch of white pepper and some biscuity malts.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Mild white pepper harshness lingers through on a subtle "hop heat" tone. Fairly smooth along my tongue. Finishes with some white pepper, white peach, grassy hop spice and orange pulp.
Overall, I'd say a mostly nice take on the New England style by Half Acre, maybe could be a superb one if some of the "hop heat" was contained.

A: Orange yellow with rich white foamy head and very rich lacing.
N: Tropical notes with citrus and hoppy tones.
T: Lots of tropical and citrus flavors with a nice light bitterness and soft dryness on the finish.
M: Medium feel with sweet/bitter mix.
O: A decent beer but I wish it shined more. Flavors were there but needed a little more bump to make this a better beer.

Hazy yellowish orange with a fluffy white head. Smell is ripe with peach, melon, orange, cantaloupe, apricot, lemon and white peach, with complimentary blended hop bitters. Taste is so smooth, so blended, with sweet and ripe fruits from the smell, hops that actually punch through the haze onto the palate and some leafy and weedy botanicals as well. Feel is sweeter, it is a midwestern hazy after all, but it is so smooth, impeccably balanced, and pretty hoppy for a fruit forward hazy. Best by HA in awhile!

Canned 1/21/20, poured into a snifter Valentines Day. Looks like an everyday hazy New England Style IPA, frothy white head and nice lacing as it dissipates. The nose is the highlight on this bad boy. This beer exudes exotic tropical stone fruits and sweet candied peaches. Taste follows but thankfully leads down a nice earthy, dank journey with some hop bitterness to balance things out. Very nice, as usual, Half Acre.

Canned 1/21/20; drank 2/11/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big eggshell head; frothy lace.

Orange peel, wheat, mild cane sugar & faint fruit punch notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Orange peel & fruit punch flavors up front; mild wheat notes on the finish.

I'm sure they'd deny it, but this is a well-made New England style IPA. I'd have another.
