10/22 canning. Poured into Pipeworks snifter. Hazy pale gold color, light frothy head and lacing. Smell of dank grapefruit and mango and lemon. Taste is milder notes of the same scents. Lighter bodied, mouth watering, minimal alcohol presence. Crisp, clean, easy drinking. Probably be a lot more enjoyable in the summer as it’s a lighter version of the style.

Canned 10-24-19
Pours orange, hazy. Light head, with lazy, quickly dissipating lacing. Smell is orangish, with a waxy tropical punch. Original taste is coconut, pineapple and earthy. Flavors morph into pineapple and orange mush. MF is just a tad under medium, and lightly carbonated with a resinous delivery.

This may be my least favorite HA beer. The flavors are to muddled, and I'm not gathering a feel for it.

Hazy golden look with a thinning white head. Jeez this has a sweet fruity citrus nose. Love the scent. Sweet yet bitter and dank on the flavor with some slight heat. Decent prickly carbonation works great.

A - Very hazy pale orange color with dense, thin white lacing.

S - Pungent sweet red grapefruit, lemon lime, and citrus with some slight candy character.

T - Lemon-lime, sweet grapefruit, citrus, very delicate light malt underneath takes a back seat to the strong citrus profile.

M - Thick and chewy with prickly fine carbonation on the tongue up front.

O - Definitely worth a try.

Pours an opaque peach color, with a three finger creamy/foamy head. Smell pine , grapefruit pith, wet earth. Taste is reminiscent of candied orange peel, lemon, pumpernickel bread. Feels a bit too viscous for a 7% IPA. Medium to heavy body, finishes semi dry to mildly juicy. The dry hopping is evident. This is a damn good beer. If it wasn't for the fact that there are thousands of IPAs this would be stellar. With the current flood of IPAs this is very good.

On tap at Roots Handmade Pizza - West Town Chicago, IL. Pineapple juice look with a frothy off-white head. Juicy hop aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. Very juicy flavors with minimal bitterness: pineapple, guava, passion fruit, piney mango; very modest oaty malt presence. Fuller body, some resinous hops but smooth overall, carbonation is pleasant, and bitterness is modest as mentioned earlier. A surprise to find it on tap...I may still grab a 4-pack if I see it and it's priced competitively.

Hazy straw color under a sudsy white head after an aggressive pour, this beer is tossing dank hop aromas around with impunity. Big citrus notes of oranges, mango, and pineapple.

The taste has the oranges, mango, and pineapple, and there’s also something that approaches coconut. Wow, what a flavor ride.

The mouthfeel has some bite, which is appreciated. What a pleasure to drink this flavorful beer from one of my favorite breweries.
