Criminally underrated this is as suitable a Pseudo Sue sub in as you'll find. Great hazy Citra forward hazy PA. Half Acre gets everything right for less you snobs

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top pint glass; canned 04/03/20, code GOTTA LIGHT?.
A: Pours an opaque, hazy, golden-orange color, a two to three finger foamy and fluffy, white head, solid, floating islands of retention, and sticky, discrete rings of lacing.
S: Aromas are largely fruit: orange, mango, and peach with quite a bit of caramel.
T: Sweet. Flavors are a melange of the nose; very fruity and very fun. Very balanced, almost minty bitterness; so balanced, I barely noticed it after the first "bite."
M: Medium bodied with strong carbonation. Creamy, smooth, and rich.
O: This castes itself as a "Hazy Pale Ale," which these days implies it is in a spectrum with a NEIPA. Tasty, flavorful, and truly enjoyable. Really used to juxtaposition of Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Centennial to excellent effect.

Pours a golden/pale orange with mild head and lacing. Lemon and grapefruit smells of dank citrus hops. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, bit of mango and passion fruit. Feel is lighter bodied, slightly mouth watering, a very sessionable refreshing dank treat.

16oz can, date stamped 03/04/20. Thanks to Ken for giving me a can to try! Paler yellowy and of course hazy body with a forthy off-white head. Great aroma of tropical fruit, namely passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus. Flavors are very refreshing with notes of passion fruit, grapefuit, pineapple, and a hint of pine. Medium body, a little thin at times, ample carbonation, and a balanced finish. I would definitely get this one again if I see it.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on March 10, 2020. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Centennial hops. London 3 malt gives this a sweet and creamy core.

Hazy light orange appearance with a slightly fruity aroma. This one is session-able for sure, little light on the mouthfeel but decent flavor for only 5.5% ABV. Could fit into a summer rotation.

L - An unfiltered, nearly Murk-ish, pale ale - new in 2019 for HA. Good lacing, decent head too for several minutes.
S - Grapefruit. Oh, and weed. But mostly grapefruit.
T - More of the smell, more pith-like from the grapefruit, dry as all fuck.
F - Great carbonation, good palate saturation, you can tell it's not super heavy either from its taste but isn't "thin."
O - I really like this beer - kinda dangerous, easy to drink, a bit like Fremont's Sky Kraken (same ABV too).

16oz can, dated 03.04.2020, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.

The beer pours a hazy orange color, amber hues with a bit of straw and a foamy finger of white head that has modest retention and spotted lacing. The aroma is pleasant, mango and pineapple, grapefruit peel with a dank weediness, raw green hop leaf and a nice grassiness while there is an assertive cereal grain finish. The flavors are good, tangy and tropical fruits, nice citrus, dank and grassy hop leaf, a bit resinous and amply bitter, nice and green with a sweet and crusty breadiness. The mouthfeel is good, heavier medium body, thick and chewy that coats well and finishes easily with a lingering dry bite.

Verdict: A nice pale ale from Half Acre. Definitely hits on the hazy profile that is en vogue but more importantly, it's refreshing, approachable and very clean.

A - Medium hazy pale gold with thin lacing.

S - Light peach and citrus on the nose but overall very light and faint.

T - Bitter citrus with a tad bit of sweetness. Nice lingering bittersweet finish with some fruit resin building in the back of the mouth.

M - Medium body.

O - An enjoyable pale ale and worth the money.

Canned 2/26/20; drank 3/13/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Lemon, table sugar, orange peel & wheat notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Dry wheat, lemon, mild table sugar & faint orange peel flavors.

This is mild but not overly enjoyable; it will work in a pinch, but it's not one I'd seek out.
