Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a cloudy gold color with two fingers of fluffy white head. The head retention is legit, hanging around for years before settling into a halo. Leaves a nice ring of lacing.

The aroma is exceptionally floral, bringing an almost potpourri quality. There's plenty of citrus and tropical notes, backed up by a sweet malt character.

The taste follows the nose. Very floral, with notes of oranges and grapefruit, followed by a crackery malt character. The finish is very piney and bitter.

The feel is light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very watery, yet extremely crisp and refreshing. Plenty of dryness on the finish.

Overall, a good and tasty pale ale. It's hoppy with a well-rounded bitterness and solid balance. Perhaps a bit overrated, but still a solid beer.

16 oz can poured into a goblet glass. Color is orange-pineapple with medium head. Aroma is floral, tropical and citrus, as is the taste. Very hoppy and smooth, with just the right amount of bitterness. This is one of the best IPAs out there and being as Half Acre is about 90 minutes from my doorstep, pretty much every store in the area carries it. This is one fantastic beer.

The appearance has a golden colored body with a nice one finger white foamy head that mushroom caps and settles leaving some nice foamy speckled white lacing in the wake. The smell has citrus, pine and malts strong up front coming through in a floral sense. There is a slight malt profile really more or less subdued only coming out after some warming. The taste is mostly bitter with a decent refreshing quality coming out in a nice way. There is a slight warming sweetness coming through. On the palate, its a light to medium, sorta crisp and sharp, sessionable, sticky citrus aftertaste with a dry finish. Overall, this is a pretty good APA that I wish I could get in my distro, but makes a wonderful APA to have to break into Spring

This orange/gold beer has a two finger, fluffy head when poured. A nice sheet of lacing clings to the glass. The aroma is amazing with orange, flowers, mango and sweet malt. The flavor is lightly sweet with orange, mango flavors and a flowery, bitter finish. Pretty nice beer.

Pours a peachy orange with just a thin layer of hazy-fog to it. Head foams up to two and a half fingers, and white in color. Good retention, with a few patches of lacing left behind. Aroma is lemongrass, peaches, oranges, with a hint of biscuit malts. Biscuit malts become more apparent in the flavor profile, with an additional bready malt note hitting at the finish of the beer. Other notes are orange, peach, and lemongrass. Mouth feel is smooth, and easy-going. It has a little presence to it with a medium thickness. Overall, a flavorful pale ale that doesn't suffocate the tongue in hops, or is really an IPA in disguise. It's smooth, and easy to drink, with a nice presence.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

16 oz can dated 3/21/17--two months on it. Trying to find some fresher cans...

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a two finger head. Head dissipates somewhat quickly leaving nice lacing.

Very hoppy, fruity, and flowery aroma. Definite grass, mango, pineapple, some citrus. A very nice smell-- just a bit faint.

Taste has a lot more citrus than the nose-- orange, grapefruit and some mango in there as well. A nice hops bite that lingers. Some malty character.

Pretty light body. Easy drinking, slightly watery but can't expect too much for 5.2% ABV. Moderate carbonation.

Overall, a pleasant, hop forward, very drinkable APA. I must admit I prefer Galactic Double Daisy Cutter but this is a great single pale ale for when this beer's big brother isn't around.
