Poured into a mug: color is slightly hazy gold, head is bright white and presents at least 1/2 inch thick and lingers very well leaving a at least 1/4 inch top with some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is hop forward, light citrus, herbs, grass, then some moderate toast and grainy malt.

Taste is similar with forward hops that are dominant but not overly bitter, malt is grainy and toasted, hint of biscuit like flavors; hop flavors are similar to aroma with light citrus/herbal/grassy flavors.

Mouthfeel is crisp, moderately carbonated, lingering sharpness.

Overall a good but not incredible pale ale.

From a can at Blackwood Barbecue in Chicago. The definition of a good pale ale. Light but still flavorful, grapefruity hops. Summer beer that's not boring.

16oz can dated 10/03/17
Poured into a pint glass boasts a yellow gold colored body floating a strong 2+in white foam head and leaving a gradually thinner sheet of lacing an I finish the pint.

Aroma is piney, floral hops with pine up front.

Flavor is floral hoo forward with a slight hint of malt for good measure.

Mouthfeel leans lighter than most ipa's.

Overall a fine example of the style.

My favorite beer. Appreciate that much flavor and lower alcohol content!

16oz globe glass.
Honey colored, minimal lacing. Smells of mild citrus across the board and mild malts. Tastes of mild hops and a puff of citrus flavors. Low carbonation, low bitterness.. very smooth. This is a great tasting PA, and I can't wait to get my hands on a a few more.
