A nod to the hop cone & the bearded brethren, we loaded this beer with our favorites and reinforced it with a solid malt base and caramel twist.

Reddish color, 1/2" off white head. The aroma was interesting, couldn't say it was ginger. Had some sweet aspect to it and something else defying words.
Taste I dunno, is that ginger? At times seems to be a malt derived flavor, but then again I dunno what it is all about, I have limited experience with ginger in any capacity. There is a bitterness to it without a lot of hop flavor. This feels like one of my worse reviews, as I can't put the flavors into words. There's the usual red malt notes, but the ginger and hops really muddle this into a little bit of everything. Feels like there is some rye, some fruit flavors from hops like grapefruit, but also this spice note that must be ginger.
I dunno, wasn't a fan, bomber format, not going back.

Not great. Very average. Had it at Taste the Rarity in Memphis.
