Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a nice fluffy head. Smells of bright fruit and some caramelized grain. Tastes of caramelized grain with some fresh fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

A lot of people see ‘half acre’ and think that the beer is bitter it’s because it’s an ipa. Nope. This beer is bitter because it really showcases rye malt. And a lot of it. Take it in, it’s Lager Town…

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, caramel and some floral notes. Sweet toffee, caramel and a toasted bread backbone.

Beautiful medium-light copper pour, looks like dark honey in the glass; excellent, slow-rising carbonation; dense, lasting head, off-white and semi-creamy texture; thick, stick rings of foam cascade down the glass. Very faint scent; barely noticeable light caramel. Decent rich sweetness and caramel flavors; low-key hop bitterness. Medium-light mouthfeel; smooth and slight velvety touch; mainly sweet feel with a slight dry edge at the finish.
A decent märzen, nicely balanced but not delivering much in the aroma department.
Pouring temperature: 44 °F; canning info: 071223A AIM FOR THE BUSHES

16 oz can into a mug. Mostly clear copper color with a foamy off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a hint of spice. Mild grainy malt flavor with a surprising amount of spicy hop bitterness to counter. Medium, creamy mouthfeel.

16-oz pour in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: Golden-orange-amber with a half-inch white head that lingered and left adequate, even lacing.
Nose: Very light, a bit of bread.
Mouthfeel: Medium, adequate carbonation.
Attack: Grain, pleasant though not knock-your-socks-off in flavor or depth.
Finish: Medium hop bitterness.
Overall: Drinkable, though nothing special — a very basic Märzen.

Pours a copper color with a big head that was higher than one finger. The nose has some mild bready qualities. The flavor profile has some sweet caramel notes that compliment the bready notes. The mouthfeel is creamy.
