(Served in a dimple mug)
A- This beer pours a slight garnet hue to a clear slightly dense brown body and a thin beige head that soon breaks up. There is a sea of tiny bubbles racing to the surface.

S- The dry toasted malt note is soft but has a nice flinty mineral finish to it.

T- The dry toasted biscuit malt grows into more of a straight biscuit malt flavor as it opens with Noble hop note in the finish. There is a roasted malt bitterness and toast note that lingers in the aftertaste.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a watery texture that leads to a scrubbing fizz in the finish.

O- This beer has a nice aroma and good malt flavor but the bitterness and big fizz grow a bit to much and are enhanced by the dryness in the finish.

Hope I'm rating the correct brew. This is Lagertown octoberfest as stated on the bottle. Burnt sienna orange color with a bright glow in the center as I enjoy this on an October 72 degree Sunday. Colors beginning to change on the trees giving this session added enjoyment. Aroma is biscuit, honey and malt. Flavour is a subdued malt. Not feeling like getting too fancy here but this is tasty. I will definitely get more.

Pours a gorgeous fall leaf orange with great carbonation and fizzing bubbles.

Smokey, toasted malts met with an earthy gourdiness to it.

Roasted malts give this a nice smokiness, lager malts add some sweetness to the bitter smoke, and finishes with a clean but subtle hop bill.

Mouthfeel is bold and smokey, a nice brew to sip on while lounging on a patio with a blanket in the cool fall air.

Overall, an excellent take on the Oktoberfest/Marzen style from Half Acre. Pick it up if you can!

Deep saturated copper amber color, sheets of lace in the glass, lasting coverage on the surface that has a creamy texture. Bright clarity with rising trails of visible carbonation.

Clean mild hop aroma, some general yeastiness, the toasted malt character is missing however.

Smooth feel, lightly malty, earthy and toasty grain husks, light bitterness that lingers in the finish. Dry and not sweet, clean and more bitter than most traditional Oktoberfests. Nuanced hop character, not overt, though the bitterness seems to define it. Overall very drinkable, enjoyable and subtle.

Had on tap at the half acre tap room. Pours a medium amber color with a nice head.

Balanced and good aromas of citrus, crackers, and cereal notes.

Medium body that is slightly lacking on the feel. It does make up for it with really good notes of grains, citrus, some bits of hops and cereals.

A very good lager. Not amazing, but very drinkable.
