A: Dark brown to black apperance but still translucent. Mild brownish yellow head about a half finger tall when poured into a pint glass.

S: Tropical fruit with a sweetness that i asociate with high alpha hop oil. Slight dank character

T: Roasty, bitter, piney. this is what i imagined a black IPA/ IBA / CDA / would taste like before I tried other examples. damn... good

M: Moderate body and carbonation

O: My first beer from Half Acre and a gift after missing a tour I missed due to some unforsean family events. I love the art work and this beer so I'll recomend it and have to check out others.

Poured into a teku

A- one finger light tan head. Fine lacing. Coca-cola brown, a little bit of red in there. Lively carbonation.

S- roasted malts, chocolate, bitter coffee, but still has a dark fruit sweetness

T- roasted malts, chocolate covered raisins, nuttiness maybe raw almonds? Dark roast coffee. Some hoppy bitterness at the beginning that lingers and mixes with a delightful porter-like aftertaste.
F- not quite medium body

O- really solid beer. Less alcohol and hops than other ABAs I've tried, which makes it a little more like a porter. Great take on the style. Glad to live near half acre.
