A: Mildly cloudy orange-amber in color. Forms a small white head. Leaves plenty of lacing.

S: Strong aroma of citrus and orange with notes of pine and some tropical fruit.

T: Tastes like a Half Acre beer. Lots of citrus: orange and grapefruit. Some lighter caramel malt lends a mild sweetness to the beer.

M: Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

O: If HA does one thing well, it is making IPAs and this another one of their fine hoppy beers. Rather enjoyable and easily drinkable.

Had this on tap at the Half Acre brewery - formerly the Daly Double and now Space. Pours a fantastic amber with a nice head. Such a great smell initially and the hops are so well balanced .....I am tired of writing. Good beer. Bring me more.

Served in a Half Acre tulip.

A- cloudy dark caramel, with a 1 finger white head, and a ring of lacing remains a inch above the beer.

S- caramel, citrus (mainly orange and grapefruit), and some pine as well.

T- slighted toasted and sweet caramel malt, the citrus hops outshine the pine.

M- medium body, easy to drink and bitterness doesn't linger to long on the tongue.

O- good ipa from Half Acre. Very similar to Daisy Cutter with less bitterness and more citrus.

Wow, another light/hoppy beer from Half Acre! Thanks, Chris! Growler poured into Bell's tulip.

A - Pours a reddish/orange color, frothy off-white head, spotty lace, thick collar, and some wisps on top.

S - Pine and light tropical fruity notes, slight dankness & citrus. I would say this is in the "medium" range of hops and smells like a bigger IPA, which makes sense for 7%.

T - More piney resin notes, dank tropical sweetness, with some alcohol bite evident in there as well with some slight malty notes. Finish is dank hoppy bitterness that says with you pretty long.

M - Light to medium body, good carbonation, oily hoppy finish.

O - A solid IPA from Half Acre. I'm getting quite bored with APA/IPA's from HA, as they all basically run into one another with similarities. That said, it's decent and I'd have again, but I hope they brew other stuff that are as good as their APA/IPA's.

650ml bottle.

It pours a deep brownish amber with a foamy white head that leaves a bit of intricate lacing.

The smell is fresh for one thing. Definitely sells like summit.

The taste is of summit too. It is acidic and tomatoey, just a small hint of onion/garilic. It is a bit spicy. The malt bill is great in this one. Bitterness is medium.

The hops in this one aren't' my style, but it is a well-crafted brew.

Poured on tap at tap room 20 oz.

Poured a hazy, very dark orange to light brown with a small fingers worth of white head. Hop forward nose with orange teases as the citra hop shows it's lovely character. Palate follows the nose closely with a huge citra hop presence. Big tropical fruit hits mid sip. The finish is a great balance between malt and dry hop. Really nice medium mouth feel as it isn't quite as big as I have become accustomed to. Low carbonation makes this ale extremely drinkable really enjoying this. Overall, damn, I now know why Half Acre is so highly looked on with those that live in their distro area. Super friendly staff at the taproom bartender Adam is great. The tap room is cool concrete bar with a fake bear head. All in all I will be coming back here for growers once my bottle stoppers are in. Cheers.

Served in a Gale Sayers shaker pint glass.

I'd like to make it a true Daly Double, Half Acre... (Wow, that was pretty bad...sorry...) This stuff pours a clear sunrise amber-gold topped by a finger or so of white foam. The nose comprises mandarin oranges, light peach, light mango, very light pine, ruby red grapefruit zest, mild caramel, and a light touch of cilantro. The taste holds notes of ruby red grapefruit, caramel, light biscuit, cilantro, orange zest, light lemon zest, light pine sap, very light wintergreen, and a hint of passion fruit. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish. Overall, a very nice IPA, one that maintains some semblance of balance despite the explosion of tropical fruity hops. Good times.
