Wheat-filled APA with semi-grassy hops, lemongrass and additional citrus. The better APA from Half Acre IMO.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a foamy, dense white head that sticks around with lots of lace.
The aroma is citrus, toast, lemongrass, tropical fruit.
The taste is citrus and cracker with a pithy, bitter finish.
Medium, bubbly and smooth on the tongue.

Pours hazy, light gold in color with one inch head. Taste is wheat, dandelion, and flowery hops. Medium light bodied, slightly bitter, and medium carbonation. Tasty, interesting, above average. Decent beer that I am glad I tried, but nothing that makes me need to rush out to get it again.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger white head which settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A juicy and grassy hop forward aroma with a scent of citrus fruit, grass, and wheat grains. Upfront citrus hop scent of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and pineapple. Earthy hop hints of grass and pine. Malt scent of wheat, grains, and cracker with yeast. A pretty solid aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and grassy hop driven taste with notes of citrus, grass, and wheat grains. Juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, and lime with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of grass and slight pine resin. Malt notes of wheat, grains, and cracker along with some yeast. A pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, juicy, and drying on the finish.

Overall: A very good hop forward Wheat ale. Good juicy hop presence with a moderate body.

(Served in a tulip glass)

A- This beer pours a hazy deep lemon body with a creamy off-white head that last and sticks to the glass with each sip. There is a sea of microbubbles trailing up the side of the glass.

S- The full aroma of hops comes through even during the pour. the full juicy hops have a bright pungency to them with green citrus rind and some pithy notes. There is a soft spicey hop quality in the finish. As the beer opens the cat pee aroma grows to dominate but it has enough support that it is not bad.

T- The green bright pungent hops have some fruity notes and some green rind note to it in the finish but there is no hop bitterness at all. The gentle green hop note lingers for a moment. As the beer opens there is a woody hop character that finishes the beer.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a nice creamy fizz that enhances the hop finish and no alcohol heat noticed.

O- The bright full hops have some nice depth and blends together a lot of different characteristics. This has a full mouthfeel but it is not a filling beer. Very sessionable.
